Try The Cutting Room, Christy is the owner/barber. 410-643-8450. Her shop is located over by Annapolis Auto Parts, behind Safeway.

I'd recommend going to see the barbers next to Classic Pizza (in building behind Duty's with Island Printing). Charlie and Shirley give the best men's cuts on the island. At $11.00 a cut it's a great guy's cut... been going there for years. And now you can get a good slice of pizza next door!

Last time I went to that place by Classic Pizza they were closed. I think it was about a month ago.

I like that Barbers on the Bay place on Thompson Creek Road since they opened. I have only gotten my haircut from the one barber named Joyce. It's a good cut, she's friendly and there's a discount coupon on KIO. I don't know what to say about the other barbers there since I haven't used them. Hopefully they are all good.

I've always been pleased with Britt's barber shop (by Lindy Jones Plumbing, at the Castle Marina traffic circle, behind the firehouse).

... and another nod to Charlie and Shirley. I've only been a couple times because I usually get mine done at a place near work, but they do a great job and are really nice. And that's the thing for me -- that it's comfortable to be there.
I'm not too picky about my hair, but I HATE being in an impersonal barber shop. It's just awkward.

Not wanting to be negative but, had my hair cut here this week and it was one of the worst haircuts I've ever had. It was not Shirley, but the other gal who cut (sheared) my hair. I should have known I was in trouble when she started and did 95% of the haircut with those electric shears; all the while chatting it up with Shirley across the room while paying little attention to what she was doing. Uneven, blocthy spots all over, my wife laughed when I got home. Never again! I guess I'll try the one over by AAP.

I go to Joyce also. She seems to do a good job and is a nice woman. Was not happy with the addition of a Steelers terrible rag hanging up behind her station. I was going to offer to place it in the men's room toilet paper dispencer where it belongs but figured that may have a negative impact on the quality of the hairbut I was about to get LOL...

I only have Shirley or Charlie cut my hair because Michelle seems to talk too much and cuts hair so fast that the cut is never that great. Not bad, but not good either. She comes from the great clips school of hair cutting--- get em in and out of the chair as fast as you can... Shirley and Charlie really take their time and give a really good man's cut...
