Not that I have a preference on teams this year , but does anyone want to share a favorite snack/dish for the Superbowl? I recently tried a Chili Dip and thought it was very good. (I will freeze the main Chili for a later date) The recipe calls for Six Gun Chili fix’ins from Giant - they have it back by the meat department, but I am sure you can use your own Chili recipe if you prefer. You will also need the following: 1-2 lbs of ground beef (I usually use just over a pound) 2 cans of diced tomatoes 2 cans of pinto beans (1 dark, 1 light just to mix it up - or black beans will work as well) 1 jar of your favorite Salsa 1- 1lb bag of Mexican cheese 1 package Philadelphia cream cheese 1 bag of your favorite corn chips Cook up chili following the directions from the six gun chili mix Pull out a 7x11 pan or whatever you have that’s close. Spread the cream cheese in the pan. When the chili is done put some in the pan. (Like I said above, I will freeze the rest for later) Leave enough room for the cheese. Then top with Mexican cheese. Then cover with aluminum foil and bake for twenty minutes at 350. Or till the cheese is melted. Serve immediately!! Proceed to over eat! ;D
