For me this time. I'm going through some really bad, challenging health issues and could use any extra help I can get.

Thankfully, I'm not alone: I have the best husband in the world. I'm hoping to get test results back tomorrow or Tuesday and maybe the doctor will know then what treatment to give me.
Thanks for all the prayers.

It's an autoimmune inflammatory disorder of the intestines. I'm looking at dietary changes and some new medications in the long term and likely a really HUGE amount of Prednisone in the short term. (So if I start acting like a b!tch on here in a week or two, you all will know why... And I apologize in advance.)

So, I jumped the gun with the Crohn's diagnosis. Just had a colonoscopy and everything looks normal.
Which is great, but fails to explain why I'm having the symptoms I've been having.

Funnel, you are in my prayers. Eventhough the two of us are worlds apart on so many things, I do care for you. I know you are probably trying to get more holistic healing. Have you considered yoga/meditation or hypnosis? There is a real nice gal who teaches yoga and meditation in a studio across from Peace of Cake (her studio is near the back).

"Not well" ended up being an ambulance ride and a 6 day hospital stay for pancreatitis. I'm home now, though.

Thanks. I'd appreciate more prayers, though. I'm out of danger for now, but it will be a while before I'm able to eat somewhat normally, and this is a new chronic condition (autoimmune pancreatitis) I have to learn to live with.

Doing better overall, but still learning what my pancreas can and can't tolerate. I'm eating my new "normal", which is 4 300-400 calorie meals a day, with fewer than 3g of saturated fat per meal and limited protein. No red meat. A lot of poultry (it's really unfortunate that I'm allergic to all seafood). I should be starting a new medication soon and begin weaning off the Prednisone, which I'm looking forward to.
I'll be okay. It's just something new to learn.
