I don't know why people are acting surprised on the Facebook that it was her or that she was even alive in the first place. I guess it's hope or something?

I don't "Face Book" so I can not comment on that and like I mentioned a little earlier, I am not shocked by the news. I guess I have believed she was gone almost from the first time I heard she was missing...It's still just so hard to believe. When it's someone you know and so very close to home it makes an incredible difference...

Best to let the MSP do there job. We don't know yet if it is Robin so we can only hope its not. Unfortunately it might be. If it is we can only hope it was just an accident rather than the other. Give the police a week or two. They will figure it out. The family needs closure one way or another. We wish them peace during this hard time.

Pure courtesy and respect for the family - although I'm sure they knew deep down what the chances were of her being found alive, you can't give up if there's the tiniest of chances (remember Elizabeth Smart being found after almost a year). May they find some measure of peace in knowing that they didn't give up and did the best they could.

Have they released the autopsy results yet? It seems if they have funeral arrangements made, the investigation must have some sort of conclusion.

I suspect it will be a while before they tell the public. If it was not an accident then the pressure will be on the state to charge someone. If she drowned then that opens another bunch of issues.
Very sad either way.

I would think and Im only guessing that she will not be released for a while. Also I don't think a "conclusion" has been made either...They haven't even released how the dog died yet...

I seriously, seriously doubt any families in the neighborhood need to worry about their safety - the dog's cause of death was unable to be determined - it was not drowning nor trauma but believed exposure to the elements was a strong contributing factor. More than likely tried to go in water to rescue owner, and it was very old. As for the fund, that is a personal choice, it may be at the request of the daughters who find themselves without a mother, the husband with who knows what relationship, and they have been unable to work with all that's going on - maybe it wasn't their best decision, but they are young and in crisis.

Quite simply, may God bless this woman's soul, and relieve the anguish this woman's family is dealing with. There is nothing left to be said.

So what is the general theory on cause of death at this point? Is the thought simply that she fell in the water and died of exposure? Same with the dog?

I was told 2 days ago by the Commander of our local State Police Barracks that there is NO M.E. Report out and they do not expect it for several weeks. The M.E. has to do many chemical analysis tests. The M.E. does not release partial reports and it is only released when the report is complete. I was told the same thing from other local law enforcement folks. It is not proper to spread rumors that are apparently not correct!! Unless the M.E. report was issued yesterday or today there is no report available and any claim of knowledge is questionable.

It was also stated that toxicology results were pending and would take several weeks.

I checked online and the only info was that ABC Channel 2 claimed that there was no obvious signs of Trauma. The State Police denies that the information is correct that there was no apparent sign of trauma. The State Police claim there was partial decomp. so no sign of trauma would be difficult to verify. State Police still say there is no M.E. Report and it will be reported when the report is complete and not before. Just because some guy who witnessed the body being recovered says there was no apparent trauma is questionable. Just because ABC Channel 2 reported this statement by someone not Officially involved with the investigation does not mean it is factual. When the Pros at the M.E. Office are completely finished we will know and anything else is conjecture. Would I believe ABC Channel 2 report or the State Police who are in charge of investigation? No question in my mind that we should all wait and see? ABC Channel 2 also interviewed the State Policeman in charge of the investigation and he told ABC Channel 2 that the trauma issue had not been confirmed and to wait for the completed report. Dr. Rodriquez has been brought in to help with the autopsy and is a Forensic Anthropologist. Dr. Rodriquez is Nationally Recognized and worked on the Casey Anthony Case.
