Needs a traffic circle study first.

Needs a traffic circle study first. I fully agree. Can you imagine the strain on the traffic circle at Thompson Creek Rd. a hotel would cause! All those people missing the first exit, and with a McDonald's there. GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone hear any new news on the hotel planned for the land between the airport and 50? I think that was part of a big development project, I can't remember the name...Bay or Blue something?,...retail, condo, hotel and such that was moving forward, like a lot of other ones that were being planned (Fisherman's Village, the Giant, The Bay East condo's at the Narrows, the Holiday Inn adding 14K sq. ft., the old outlets development) before the big economic meltdown. This stuff is starting to bubble back up as the economy is warmer up...you know, people that have money are spending money again.

Here's another one to panic over, conceptual plan for Kent Island bit.ly/1dqb9AJThat would be great except for the fact that Doug Jamal is the developer and it would never look that. His reputation is terrible and he never pays his bills. Most of his properties are pieces of crap on prime land.

Nvm. Answered my own question. I'd love for this. Better than the eye sore there now.

Here's another one to panic over, conceptual plan for Kent Island bit.ly/1dqb9AJThat is really awsome. I did not see a traffic circle though. Everyone seems to love them around here. I guess back to the drawing board for now.

Looks like there is a Walmart in the pictures. What a great place for a Walmart. I wonder why no one has thought of that. Target would be nice as well. Trader Joes or a bowling ally anyone?

Isn't there water in there now? How solid would the foundation be building over that?

It looks nice, but those pesky details of wetlands, marsh, future flooding, traffic....that doesn't mean anything to the developer after it's been built and he has his money....suckers!

Isn't there water in there now? How solid would the foundation be building over that? No problem. Hell, that's the easy part!
