Where'd my "Stop Sewer Inequality" post disappear to? I know it's a catchy-phrase, but I doubt it's trademarked. I know it was here because Jack commented on it, and it wasn't offensive, so are the demonic forces of Sewer Inequality trying to silence the 99%? deputy or bchevy took it out, in all probability. Both have been very "vocal" towards those that indicate any support for SKI sewer or make points in support of it. My monies is on Deputy. Although, Bchevy deleted a huge ski sewer link. Kitransplant. What was that you said again. I am going to print it out and make signs and t-shirts for next week. You used a big word but I can't remember.

My original post was harmless and was an attempt to lighten things up here. It wasn't even a serious comment.

I will also have signs and t-shirts directed to the lot owners saying - Welcome to KI - Now Leave!

You have to admit that your comments were completely irrelevant to the subject topic, at best. (And seemed more like yet another attempt to hijack every thread with an issue well-covered elsewhere.) I don't blame you for being a crusader in regard to a personal issue, but what's the benefit of tilting at the unrelated windmills too? There's no need to pollute every thread with a singular topic (it frankly becomes quite tedious, devaluing this forum while potentially undermining the credibility of or focus on your issue). And there is no obligation for the forum administrators to defend or identify themselves for weeding out posts that belong elsewhere.

BTW, I did not change the thread, someone else did. Just going with what's on here. Also, is it every thread or just a few. I have been a member for 3 years or so and I have noticed many threads evolve into some other topic and 99% of the time it is not about denying me my right to a clean environment for my children to play in!

Well said, Jack. My comments weren't irrelevant because somebody made a comment moving onto something else, which I in turn responded to. I'm not a crusader on this issue and can't remember how I even voted on it when the issue last came up. I was simply trying to make a play on some of the ridiculous political slogans of the day. As far as devaluing the forum, in my opinion what devalues the forum is the unnecessary restrictions on free speech. That's a trend these days--trying to silence those you disagree with. I'd continue on with that thought, but I'd be getting off topic.

Could always be worse. Every time I travel around the World I think we are blessed with our choice of Grocery Stores. Live in a Second World Country for a while and than come back and make judgements about Shopping for Groceries. After 13 years of living on Kent Island we have a contract on a waterfront house in Crisfield. There is only a Food Lion there but I will take that in a minute for the peace and tranquility of living there! A long time ago I used to get that feeling of weight coming off my solders when crossing over the Bay Bridge. That weight is not being released any longer when crossing over The Bridge and we are moving to hopefully find a more tranquil area to live.

Can you take Deputy and Bchevy with you as long as they do not have a STEP system where you are moving of course.

You can get a shopper ez pass plan for $3 each time. I think the plan covers 10 crossings in 3 months. Yes it is a tax, but each gallon of gas is taxed about 50%. Sad to say. Here on KI, very substandard food stores. Empty shelves, rotten outdated produce, outdated dairy and bakery items (you must really scan all the dates on all the items!!) High prices and disinterested employees. The last time I walked into the Safeway I was immediately hit with the stench of rotten fruit. (Guess the old Acme smells had to find a new home LOL). I finally gave up on local shopping unless it is something I need right away. Don't want to pay the big toll on the bridge (thanks OweMalley) so I now go into Delaware to shop. Redners outside of Dover on Rt 8 is wonderful. Clean store, friendly employees, good produce, good prices and NO SALES TAX ON ANYTHING. I also get gas rewards just like Safeway. this is an employee owned store so all are motivated to do a good job. I have never had to wait in line to check out (unlike Food Lion with their one checker or Safeway with their long lines). Only 40 min from my home. SMH, how sad to say I shop at a food store 40 min away,I mean we don't live in Moosebut Wyoming, do we?

You'll be able to shop at Redner's in Chestertown in 2015. chestertownspy.org/2014/06/26/its-official-redner-market-coming-to-chestertown/
