Seems odd to have 2 Mexican restaurants right next to each other.

It appears, according to their Facebook page that Sombreros is moving to larger quarters and changing their name. Does anyone know if this involves a change of ownership?

It's the same owners, just moving to a bigger space and changing the name. They are adding an extensive tequila bar and probably will have entertainment at night, etc.

I do find it odd they are changing the name. That is also one of the nick names of Castro. I hope the food stays good and they do not change so much that they lose what they had.

The new name, El Jefe, is Spanish for The Chief or The Boss

Last I spoke to the management at Sombrero's (which was a year ago), they're opening up a larger bar next door with a dance floor.
