My only gripe here is the cramped bar, everything else it good! Correct. That middle half bar/table should be moved about 3' back Or cut down to about half or less depth -- only need enough for a shelf for standing patrons to place drinks and appetizers

oriolesfan, great observation. I'll try to stay way from the bar area.

Just my view but I think there is a difference between 'bashing' a business and sharing a bad experience. For example there is a restaurant we've been to that has a 'please wait to be seated' sign but doesn't always have a host/hostess to seat you. We've been three or four times but decided that having to walk into the dining area and flag down a waitperson in order to get seated wasn't something that appealed to us. If there was a 'seat yourself' sign that's one thing, but to say 'please wait' and not have any staff within sight of the entrance didn't work for us. No bashing just sharing our experience and why we don't frequent a particular place.
If we had a bad experience we would first talk to the management and then depending on how it was handled we'd share that, too.

Yeah - WTF? I have little enough spare cash that it is NOT going to restaurants that expect me to suck it up and enjoy crap food and worse service. I know enough places that get it right most of the time so it CAN be done. The Pour House is one such place - so far all service has been good and all food delicious. The problem on this forum is that people expect businesses to be perfect, and for some reason restaurants more then anything else. Every business has its problems and never is 100% perfect. In my opionion, when you get on this forum and start a thread bashing a restaurant, a local business, a persons livelyhood, a persons dream, what does that say about you?. Restaurants have a low succes rate because of the standard people hold them to of perfection and appealing to everyone. Again NO business is perfect and can not appeal or cater to everyone. I have No respect any person who gets on here as a new member, or yelp, or trip advisor or any other website and complains about a business. Unless there complaint was voiced to the manager/owner, was not an opionion, and was a legitamate complaint. I think the internet has become a place for a high percentage of lazy people (Most Americans) to complain about something or anything that they feel they know everything about but do not know much at all. Just because you eat out sometimes or a lot, JUST BECAUSE YOU EAT, DOES NOT MAKE YOU A FOOD CRITIC OR CONNISOUR OF HOW TO OWN OPERATE OR BE A CHEF OF A RESTAURANT. If you want an honest opionion of a good restaurant, ask a person who has worked in a restaurant. Not someone who just eats at them. YEAH What do customers know? WOW

Being a new homeowner to the Grasonville area, my wife and I have been trying out local restaurants. There are many of them to choose from. This is definitely a place that I will return to. The staff was friendly, the food was pretty good, prices were reasonable and the owner was even present helping with front of the house operations. I was impressed. I will be returning soon. Next time I want to try one of their burgers. My wife got one and it was great.

My wife and I went their for the first time last night. We both got the classic burger, which was cooked perfect and the fries were very good. That being said, the music and bar noise was way to loud for me. Seems the music was turned up very high which made the bar crowd have to talk very loud.
