For anyone that has young children: the Child Identification Kit program, sponsored by Centreville Lodge [HASH]180 AF&AM, is back by popular demand daily beginning at 5 pm and starting at noon on Saturday. Parents receive a valuable kit with each child's fingerprints, photographs, vital statistics, and even a video interview for voice and mannerisms -- everything any law enforcement agency would need in the event of a lost/kindnapped child or other emergency. It's a great service, worth a few minutes of your time!

Been going there for over 20 some years, great event that really celebrates some of what QAC does best. Opening Parade was last night in the horse rink and went through the fair. Multiple barns to walk through with all the cows, goats, pigs, horses, chicks, bunnies, etc. that the kids really like. Lots of rides, many food vendors, local businesses in various booths and in some of the barns. Multiple things going on every night. Wednesday night usually the biggest night for their chicken dinners but they sell out fast. Saturday good too with truck/tractor pulls at noon and bands in the evenings. If getting there early, plenty of parking off of Dulin Clark Rd. and you can walk in from there. When that fills up, more parking on Rt. 18 and they take you in on a trailer towed by a tractor. Many folks prefer to park there just to go in the fair like that anyway. Please go, great time and you all will not be disappointed.
