Anyone have anything good/bad to say?
I have had an account with them for almost ten years. The company has had the oil contract for over twenty years at my residence.
I ran out of fuel last week, I had no heat or hot water. I called in and was told I would get a delivery the next morning. The next day at noon I called in and was told it would be a week to get fuel. I told the rep that I'm a quadriplegic in a wheelchair, but they couldn't care less.
They will say "we do our best but....", that really matters not when you are cold and have no hot water. They also have no means to deliver any more than ten gallons?
I was able to get fuel two days later from Tri-gas

Ran in to a similar situation a couple years ago, but with Tri-Gas. (I hate that company!) Was out of oil, and it was COLD! Since "they were only out on Kent Island twice a week, it would be a few days before they could get out to refill. So, I called Southern States who was out in an hour or so. Didn't bother to cancel Tri-Gas coming out, so they got to put 7 gallons in the tank. LOL!

That is funny. I guess we can all hurt them the most by taking our business away and telling everyone in earshot how bad they are.

Never had an issue with them until they sold the business to Griffith/Karl King or whoever the hell they are owned by now. Their office people are as dumb as a box of rocks, too. Glad you eventually got serviced. I'm going to give TriGas a call

I called Trigas, forgot to update this. They have been great, great service. Meitzer has probably the worst service I've ever experienced, my opinion. I can't believe they think people can be treated like that and keep customers.

Good to hear! As bad as Meintzer is, BATES TRUCKING is BY FAR, the WORST company I have EVER dealt with. EVER!!
