Antique shop/mall, with booths you can rent out, and an outside flea market. That's what I heard. seriously.

They must have given that building away. How can anyone afford a lease operating only 2 days a week?

They have a pretty active Facebook page and Kent IslandOnline is pushing them on their Facebook too. I think that it could do really well if people can find it.

It is not a restaurant, it is a retail business that has over 20 different local businesses/merchants selling inside and a flea market outside every weekend. Kind of a "mini mall" concept, with each merchant basically subleasing and having their own "store" within. It's the Pits serving breakfast lunch and dinner every weekend, Jack Frost Snowballs every weekend selling cotton candy and popcorn as well. Shore Party Rentals will have a moon bounce or slide every weekend, games and prizes for the kids, free charity spot on the deck every weekend for local charities/organizations, Local DJ's/bands, lots going on here....all about helping to promote small local businesses/organizations and artists. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 6....all of the info is there on www.facebook.com/ShipwreckedOn50

I love the concept and it's something original that supports locals and local charities too. Look for a lot of KIO involvement!
