I have Verizon DSL and it sucks. When it first became available over 15 years ago it was very fast and way better than my old friend.ly.net dial-up connection, not now. More users and you can only force so much data through a wire. ABB is suffering the same problems even with fiber optic feed.

FWIW I get consistent 60MB download and 5MB upload speeds with ABB day or night (as advertised). No complaints here.

$75.00 seems like a big RIP OFF. We need more competition over here on everything.

I have verizon and it sucks. We don't have a good option on the Island. QFT! And my Verizon just went up $10/month. I have had verizon for 18 years and they send me a notice last month saying that my "introductory period has ended so we need to increase your rate" I kid you not.

The Verizon store does not even use Verizon, they use ABB, that should tell you something....

Verizon is horrendous, stay far away. Why so much for ABB? What speed are you trying to get? 15 mbps is $48 ...

Just moved from KI to western shore and now have FIOS. Some web pages on ABB were impossible to view(Capital Gazette for example) I can now view it on FIOS.

Good morning all!
Eastern Shore Communications is coming to your area!
We are a local ISP that started on the most southern part of the Eastern Shore of Virginia BECAUSE the national provider there was not able to and was not going to invest in the infrastructure needed to bring true speed to our area.
We are FIBER based - which is the most reliable and future proof technology currently available.
Just a comment on speeds, you may notice that your current provider offers speeds "up to" which means that one carry may offer 3 Mbps but performs at 1 Mbps and the second provider also offers 3 Mbps and delivers .75 Mbps! Which may be the difference between one 3 Mbps being better than the other 3 Mbps....
We also must offer "up to" speeds, but as a local company we cannot underserve our neighbors! When we set an installation, it is ALWAYS contingent that we can deliver the signal strength to OUR standard - which means up to 3 Mbps means at 3 Mbps not 1 Mbps! We focus on delivering a service rather than a speed - because what matters is you can get done what you need, not the numbers behind it!
Presently we offer three levels of service:
Basic - ideal for the user who simply surfs the web and check email Streaming - great for multiple users and watching Netflix, Hulu, etc Gamers - for those who have the Xbox/playstation devices and can't suffer from the lag!
We really want to hear from you and earn your business! Please send an email or give us a call!
Thanks!

3 does not equal 60.
No thanks.
