I haven't been there in a while, but today I had a bite to eat at Rustico and walked around. There isn't any reason for anyone to go there which is why it's dead. Stores selling used crap is what makes up most of it and that's not going to bring anyone down there. It's like a Pennsylvania town and that doesn't fit in here. I'd love to see Stevensville be something, but it's not there by any means.

What's the answer then? Bars and restaurants? The parking is a problem for that.

I gotta agree. Unless you're into used stuff, I have no reason to go there. Annapolis, St Michaels, even old town Easton have limited parking and all draw a respectable crowd. It's a mix of new and used stuff, specialty stores, bars, and restaurants that bring people in.

Place has been going downhill ever since Grollman's closed.
