We're planning a trip to Kent Island in late September or early October. My kids have never had the pleasure of exploring the marsh and sand at low tide nor have they experienced things like seafood boils on the beach. I've searched the lodgings and Things To Do on Kent Island. The lodgings don't seem to be near the water - where the Chesapeake is visible from the hotel. As well, I cannot locate any seafood cook-outs on the beach or at the lodgings. Sure, there are seafood restaurants, but I'd like my kids to experience a real seafood boil, preferably on the beach. I can probably find lodging on the water and a seafood boil on beach in the Annapolis area. I was very much hoping for the entire trip to be on laid-back, non-commercial Kent Island.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
