Like I said earlier in this thread, either the Russians are tappin' in on us or someones typing skills need improvement - maybe we can get NSA to decode it for us

You guys crack me up!!! Thanks for the entertainment. We all know that its NSA owned classified area and with the equipment above ground we can say that it might be a automated reception station of sorts, gathering information more or less from cell or satellite phone or whatever, but come on "exploding rockets or plane overhead and tank tracks???" what next, local girl gets adducted and ends up pregnant with the story that she was kidnapped and held at the ultra secret facility on Kent island? Ha Ha Ha I think someone has been sipping too much of that Kent island fermented crab juice. Has it ever occurred to anyone that maybe the mystique of the facility is just a ploy and this site is just a simple reception station and the thread are started by someone who wanted to keep you busy and to keep us (those who know) entertained from reading your postings. Thanks; I’m printing the thread to take with me to the bathroom to read this is better then the NEWS

We live near the base, and some of the neighborhood kids say there is a "crop circle" up there. I can't see anything, but my eyesight isn't what it used to be. A couple of weeks ago, I was woken up two nights in a row at 3:30 a.m. by a racket coming from the base which sounded like heavy machinery and helicopters. Whatever they are doing is certainly noisy. I looked out the window but could only see that it was lit up like mardi gras as usual. Maybe they were working on the crop circle.

Can you remember the exact date of the 3:30 a.m. incident? And which side of the property do you live on, Cox Neck or RT552? I'll understand if you don't want to answer the second question.

Native - I don't remember the exact dates, but I know it was right after Rumsfeld resigned. We live on the Cox Neck Road side.

Thanks, Native. I do wonder about that place. We have been having trouble with two TVs, both of which are near windows you can see the satellite from. Our other TVs are fine, but with these two the remotes usually don't work. I wonder if whatever they're doing interferes with the waves or signal or whatever.

It's quit possible since large magnetic fields can screw up electronics such as computer monitors and television sets. Do you have the old tube style TV? or a flat screen? I tell you what though, you can easily find out if it is Electro Magnetic Interference. If you have a CRT computer monitor, just plug it in next to your effected TV. and see what it does. If you only have an LCD monitor that you use with your computer then this test wont work.

Thanks, Native, I'll get my husband to try - I'm a mechanical idiot. The TVs that are affected are a flat-screen and a little one, about 3 years old. We have a couple of new computer monitors. I'd like to figure out what's wrong, because TV repair costs are ridiculous.

if it is more than one TV having the problem then it is probably one of two things: either Electro Magnetic Interference or you have a bad cable connection

This is terrific reading. What bothers me is what exactly IS going on there and how does or will this affect the safety of the residents. Who in our County government and law enforcement is aware of this -- and, more so, are they aware of it? Actually, it makes me very uncomfortable. In the '50s forward, my father worked for the Department of State (not State Department), specifically working on Project Blue Book. Everything was very secretive -- Project Blue Book dealt with documentation of UFO sightings. The Project was eventually killed as a result of nay sayers in the government (nawwwww). How ironic today. Unfortunately, my father has long since passed. But I sure wish he were here to question him. Keep this post going please. Thank you to all who have contributed.

shoregirl, that is amazing that your father worked on Project Blue Book. I have read about that government group as well as MJ12 so many times I just can't believe it. I wish I had known him, and I'll try to keep you up to date on what goes on there. As for your other question I'm sure the County knows, the base has been here since 1962 and if there is anything going on there that is out of the ordinary I'm sure they kow about that also. Sleepingdragon, I read about that incident yesterday also. If anyone would like to whatch the news video of the incident or read the story about it just click on the link below: news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070102/ap_on_fe_st/o_hare_ufo_sighting

Mike seriously man I thought new year = new start. You are wasting page space with your no reason comments. I am trying to be nice and I'm not going to say anything stupid but what is the point of typing some of the stuff that you put on here. You started this thread and it has taken off and now you are the one trying to make everyone else, that is interested in it, feel stupid. Your comments don't effect me but I would like to hear what others have to say and they might not feel comfortable enough talkingabout it with your sarcasm. You are definitly allowed your own opinion but why start this thread if your opinion is the opposite of the whole that is interested?
