It is hard to beat a good old gourment cut t-bone or NY strip on the grill.. smear with olive oil. Sprinkle with Montreal Steak seasoning. Never cook beyond medium rare..
As a side, a baked potato rolled in olive oil and montreal steak seasoning is awesome! Nice crisp salad and toasted roll.
Steak on the grill for me tonight!!
Best regards, BC

By the way, if you consider Prime Rib to be steak, believe it or not the Hillside Inn has always done a nice job with Prime Rib.

We grilled some steaks last night...Ribeyes, cut to order, best around I tell ya!!! So good that I barely touched the sides.... Just gimme the meat.......
When I was home a couple of weeks ago....went to the Cattelmen's Resturant in Cowtown (in OKC where the stockyards are)......O....M...G..... they are absolutely the best place in the entire universe (even beats mine...) ......It took me almost an hour to eat my perfectly cooked steak....I savored every bite..........
Oubacks not bad, neither is that place over in the Bowie Shopping area I think it's Longhorns or Lonestar or something like that.....we have always gotten a decent steak there...
I am gonna have to go try the place in Easton....(Hey Shadow1 you and Zebadee want to take a trek up there sometime with me and the DH?

Steak is one of those food that a ding dong could cook on the grill while he / she is half baked and would still have a great chance of turning out very good. The most important step is the selection of your meat. Very few people understand the grading of meat, they just look at the price per pound. we have done wholesale meat for years and educating our shop owners is one of the first steps to a successful business relationship. Both Ruth Chris and Holly's have a t-bone on the list, but take that raw t-bone from Holly's and give it to Ruth Chris and visa versa and holly's would be great while R.C. will be shoe leather
