For a while there a bunch of us would meet at local restaurants for dinner or drinks. We should keep it up ! How about a KIO cocktail cruise from Hemmingways on Lady Pintail ? We could pick a Saturday evening, and split the cost for the yacht, and have a cash bar. Whatcha think? It could be a fun evening for more than the 14 or so of us that have met, but for everyone to meet each other. We could wear, "Hello My Name is - " (what ever your name is on here) tags ! It could be a great time !

I'm up for it. Maybe I can barter some ad space for part of the cost too.

Several years ago my neighbors married -- used the back yard of friends down Romancoke way whose backyard was right on the water -- had a long pier -- the bride arrived via speed boat to the pier, was escorted to land (or edge of pier?)and married by a captain in full dress while we all stood on the lawn -- later the reception was held on one of the Pintail yachts -- wow -- the food was excellent, the atmosphere easy, cruised all over the Bay until around 9-10 p.m. -- it started raining and we didn't care -- sat in it and loved it! Preferred that to being inside. After we docked, most of us finished the night at Lola's. Very memorable. As I recall, it was pretty expensive but I really can't remember what the fee was at this time.

you crack me up SG ! All kidding aside, it is a lovely boat, and I think it would be alot of fun for KIO ! It is costly, about 3k not including bar, etc. So I think we are looking at about $60.00 for a sunset cruise for about 50 people. If anyone is seriously interested. Please post....btw, a swim club would be fun ! ;D

That does sound fun Do they have...tables? lol Maybe we could do one in the fall? When I was living in the South, they did a thing called The Fall Color Cruise...was very nice..but not nearly as nice as those folks seem to have to offer...we are game if there are others that would want to go. Let's discuss

I would love to do a dinner & drinks cruise. With enough time to get a babysitter, I'm there!
