"Jacks" was in NY too. They are owned by Arbie's and have a lot of the same stuff, and those greasy taco's too!

Shorti I don't really know all that much I usually get specialty things from there, like they have this fruit tart thing that is amazing. You would have to call. I have never heard one bad thing about her though. Everyone I have ever talked to has loved her baking!

I remember the one in Landover, I don't remember the one in Adelphi although that was my old stomping ground. There is a place in Alabama called Jacks I would swear they are the same company the chicken sandwich puts Chick-fil-a to shame and the waffle fries seriously have Old Bay on them. Adelphi= next to Robert Hall across the street from the bowling alley.

Wanna really show your age? There was a fast food joint in the parking lot across the street from the Jack in the Box. It was between the Flying A (Mobil) and Plain and Fancy Donuts. What was the name? We're talking 1964.

Bowling Alley? Sure, Fairlanes University. It's now an AMF house. (American Machine and Foundry).
If this was your stomping ground, you go to school there?

Man I just cannot think of where that bowling alley was.... it has been a looonng time since I have been down that way, I have moved in and out of state a few times and sometimes older memories mesh together!
I dated a guy who lived off of Riggs Road and spent a lot of time over there. I am sure I have been there...

It was up the hill in the same parking lot, dead next to the Riggs Building.
