Narrative:
On March 29, 2009, Deputy Svehla was working radar in the Sudlersville area. During this time he observed a 1996 Ford Probe with South Carolina traveling above the posted speed limit. A traffic stop was made and the driver was found to be driving without a license. He was placed under arrest and transported to the District Court where he was later released.

Narrative:
Dfc. Fraser responded to the No Place Bar in Stevensville for a report of an assault. Dfc. Fraser met with a victim who advised that another female had stopped her and an argument had occurred, during which the other female had grabbed the victims neck and threatened to kill her if she talked to her (the victims) ex-husband again. No injuries were reported and the victim was referred to the District Court for charges if desired.

Incident: Assist other Police Agency Date Reported: 03/31/2009 @ 2219 Hours Location: Rt. 50 @ Outlet Center Drive, Queenstown, Md. Victim: Female (46) of Millington, Md.
Narrative: Deputy Gore performed a patrol check at the Oasis Gas Station in Queenstown. At that time he was approached by a female who reported that she was sexually assaulted earlier. The victim reported that the incident occurred at the WaWa Gas Station located in Anne Arundel County near the Bay Bridge. Victim was heavily intoxicated and could not initially provide Dep. Gore with a description of the vehicle and or suspect(s). She was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment. Anne Arundel County Police Department was notified, and detectives from that agency responded to the hospital and assumed the investigation at that point.

Narrative:
Dfc. Nielsen observed a 1970 Buick traveling on Rt. 8 at Batts Neck Road with its left rear brake light out and activated his emergency equipment to stop the vehicle. The driver was identified as Leonard Junior Mcdyees and asked to see his license and registration. Defendant stated he didn't have one. Further investigation revealed the defendant did not have a valid license in the state of Maryland. The defendant was advised and placed under arrest for driving w/o a license. Search incident to arrest revealed suspected marijuana contained in a clear sandwich type bag in his front right pants pocket. The defendant was transported to the Sheriff's Office for processing then to the Court Commissioner's office where he was released on his own recognizance.

Narrative:
Dfc. Nielsen responded to this location for a domestic in progress and upon arrival discovered signs of a struggle within the residence. Further investigation revealed that the victim had been drinking alcoholic beverages and had been abusing several types of prescribed medication while making threatening statements to her husband that she didn't want to live anymore. Victim was taken into protective custody and transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center for treatment.

Tire MDOP Suspect Sought

Incident: MDOP Date & Time: 03/27/2009 03/28/2009 Location: Marling Farms, Chester
NARRATIVE:
The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office is investing the MDOP to several vehicles including a marked New Carrollton Police car. A majority of the cars were parked along side the roadway in Marling Farms development. Most of the cars damaged were parked on Chester Road.
A witness reported that he observed a white male juvenile, approximately 13 to 17 years old, about 5'7" to 5'10" in height, thin build with dark colored stringy hair wearing black clothing and a black and white Punk Rock type t-shirt walking in the area. The suspect was seen stopping by a vehicle and bending over by a vehicle, which the next morning had a flat tire.
The damages appear to have been caused with an sharp pointy object, believed to be an ice pick.

Shoplifting @ Royal Farms

Narrative:
Dep. Gore responded to the Royal Farms Store in reference to a reported theft. The store manager reported a suspect attempting to shoplift a pack of batteries. Upon being confronted, the suspect returned the batteries and was told to leave the store.
Upon reviewing the video of the incident, it was observed that the suspect had placed four bottles of windshield wiper fluid into the trunk of his car, valued at $13 prior to entering the store. It was also learned that when the suspect removed the batteries from his pocket a pill container was left at the store. The suspect had called and requested that he be able to return to the store to recover his medication.
The suspect returned a short time later to the store and was identified as John Thomas McGuire of Worton, Md. A search of the suspects vehicle revealed four bottles of windshield wiper fluid in the trunk.
McGuire was placed under arrest and transported to the Sheriff's Office for processing. He was later released on his signature by a District Court Commissioner.

Additional investigation revealed that the victim had provided false information including that she made the statement up just to get him out of the residence. MDOP of Farm Field

Narrative:
The Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office was notified of a Jeep being driven in a farm field on Keene Farm Lane near Stevensville. The Jeep was then reported to be leaving the area and was located at a car wash in Stevensville.
Dfc. Nielsen located the Jeep and its driver, who admitted he had been "4 wheeling" in a field and did not have permission to be on the property. A check of the property indicated that it was posted with "No Trespassing" signs. Damage to the field was estimated at $1000.
The juvenile was referred to Juvenile Services and later released to his parent.

Narrative:
Deputy Gore responded to a residence on Flat Iron Square Road near Church Hill for an in progress Domestic Assault. Upon arrival Dep. Gore discovered that both the victim and suspect had been drinking alcoholic beverages and appeared to be under the influence. Both were involved in a heated verbal argument during which the suspect began to choke the victim. The suspect then struck the victim in her face area causing visible swelling to just under her right eye. The victim refused medical treatment.
The suspect had fled the location and returned a short time later at which time he was placed under arrest for Assault 2nd Degree. He was later released by a District Court Commissioner.

Narrative:
Dfc. Becker was working stationary radar enforcement in the area of Rt. 304 @ Rt. 481 (Ruthsburg) during which time he observed a vehicle operating above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was traveling 50 mph in a 40 mph zone and stopped for the violation. The driver, Leonard Deedon did not have a valid license and was placed under arrest.
