Has anyone purchased any of the this all purpose cleaner that these salesmen have been going door to door with? I think it was called Xcellant Cleaner and went for about $70 per gallon, but you dilluted it, so it gave you a years worth of cleaning supplies, according to them.
I turned them down, but I just wondered if anyone has any experience with this product. When I asked if I could purchase it on-line, they told me I had to buy from them first and then I could re-order on line.
It did clean some cutter stains, that nothing else I have tried would touch.

changed it's name again, but yep, I've bought it for the past 2 years and it's been GREAT!!! They cleaned my windows then had my kids touch them... no fingerprints. They cleaned some grease off my driveway (high strength), they cleaned some rust off my tub.... I'm cheap, but cleaning products are EXPENSIVE and this is a DEAL at $70! It pretty much lasts me an entire year and I use it for EVERYTHING.... cleaning carpets/as windex/ as bathroom cleaner, etc...

A mixture of bleach and TSP* (trisodium phosphate) is about as cheap as you can get and will clean up any outside stains, mold, dirt, mildew, bird and spider droppings, etc. If you have never tried it, do so.....it works great on siding, decks, gutters, porches, driveways, patio furniture, pretty much anything outside.
TSP is a great emulsifier, and the bleach brightens and keeps things from growing (if needed) in the future.
*it's a powder, comes in a box like laundry detergent. Sold at Lowe's, Home Despot, etc.

I bought it from the girl 2 days ago. Used it yesterday to clean my kitchen top to bottom "field day", and my-my, does it sparkle!! She got me when she wrote on her ordinary towel with a ball point, sprayed the stuff, rubbed it with the nozzle and wa-la! no more ink.

I had a boy come to my house last year and I was impressed with his demonstration. I didn't buy any but kicked myself after he left becaue I had some stains on my bedroom carpet I would have loved to see if he could have gotten out.
Maybe this year I'll let him demonstrate how good it works on those stains. I can't afford to buy it now but I'll tell him that after he does the demo. ;D

It's a form of mold, just dark stains. Instead of being white, they look grey. My pressure washer just goes over it, even with a mold product mixing in the water.

It sounds like this is a pretty good product. I guess I'll have to wait until next year if they should come around again. You would think they would be selling this product on-line rather than door-to-door. He told me that you have to buy from a salesman first and then you can reorder on-line after wards. I was just leery about a product being this great and only being sold door-to-door. Why aren't they pushing this in infomercials with a shouting salesman? It sure would reach a greater customer base.

You get a gallon jug and a "cleaning" kit, complete with small brush, a couple of scrubbies and a spray bottle. The bottle has ratios on the side and you fill it according to your cleaning job. Very easy and works great!

Directions on the back for what application you want to use it for. I use a pump sprayer to wet gutters, siding, etc. Usually don't have to brush it, you may need to if it's a bad stain. Let it soak on for a few minutes, I then use my pressure washer to rinse it off. I have white siding and gutters, looks great when done and even better after it dries. If you have a mossy side on your house, you will love it. I also noticed when I started using it, there were much less spider webs built along the eaves.

Thanks MJ! I'll be in Easton tomorrow and will look in Lowes for the TSP. Is it around the paint area?

I'm pretty sure it's in the paint section near acetone, paint thinner and strippers, etc. If it's not, look in the section where the rest of the household cleaning stuff is. Lowes and Home Depot have it in different sections. It comes in different size boxes, TSP is printed on the box.
