I drove down there last week...to see if the building would be big enough for 100 people for a party we are planning. Let me tell you...they did a fabulous job..it is so beautiful with out being over the top stuffy. Sitting on the steps makes you go back in time..and omg...the view is fabulous. There wasn't anyone there when I went to see it...I was all alone standing on the steps...An older couple had packed a lunch and pulled in as I was going...they came to sit and eat out front. What a peaceful spot. Its not big enough for my party...which made me really sad after seeing the place. I need to go back in the spring and have lunch there.

for parties over 100 they put a tent up out back on the hill. Check out the parks and recreation website for prices etc.

Check out the parks and recreation website for prices etc. The party would be in the middle of March...don't think a tent would do it....but that is good to know. The prices are Fantastic for what you get...400.00 for the building...600.00 for the grounds..well worth it for the view and the beautiful club house.

Barb, is that an additional $600 for the grounds, or the building and grounds are a total of $600? I would like to have my parent's anniversary party somewhere on the Island and am shopping around for prices. Thank you!

I wish we could do it there...it is so pretty... Here is the website: parksnrec.org/matapeake-beach-clubhouse-rental.html
