He did not say anything that you cannot read on Maryland Judiciary Case Search. Mike, you better go to bed before you get in trouble.

But it just doesn't seem professional... in all my years on the internet I have yet to see a lawyer get on a forum and say such things.. and I've been around the internet a time or two.. who knows.. maybe you are different.. like a school yard bully.

JMM, You WERE speeding, regardless of where you were going and for what reason. You, Sir, and I use that term loosely, are as guilty as any one of us, if we do the same. You have dodged the bullet, this time. You give the term "Scum-bag Lawyer" new meaning. And thats not a good thing. Hopefully, this will show people who they elect to office!

JMM, you seem oddly and overly obsessed with someone you are prosecuting. Very odd and creepy. Your boss must be very proud.

You know.. this has gotten my panties in a bunch.. how can someone prosecuting someone can into a public form and speak directly to the person he is prosecuting?!? This sure seems not right... why the hell would you do that in public? It seems like a conflict of interest.. like if I was an officer of the law, went on a forum and said "hey x and x.. I am coming to arrest you".. I *REALLY* don't get this at all... obsess much

I have driven Rt. 50 many many times and although I am not saying it is right, many if not most of the people are driving 70mph.

Jmm -- my dead horse stick just broke.. so it's done with... but I have yet to see any attacks on anyone in your family... I haven't seen an attack on you either.. I've seen opinions.. but I've never seen an attack.. in fact this thread was started to point out you got a speeding ticket.. you didn't get attacked... you got public info posted about you.

JMM.......Sir, I have stated many times publicly that the law is upside down, and corrupt. If you are in fact the "above the law" Q.A.Co. Deputy States Attorney John Mark McDonald please let me give you some advice....It's better to be quiet and be thought a fool than to speak up and remove all doubts.....If you are not the infamous "not guilty 22mph over the posted speed limit" Q.A.Co. Deputy States Attorney John Mark McDonald, you are definitely a look a like......Corruption at all levels needs to be addressed by the proper authorities. The Garrett case is now on the desk of Chief Judge Robert M. Bell, and this case will be on the Judge's desk with the next arrival of the mailman.

. Well justme1960, I guess I'm insane. I don't drink and don't do drugs. And since I know you are friends with my attacker on this site, I'm not really worried about your namecalling. Talk about mad conspiracy theories...

JMM.......Let me make this perfectly clear to everyone that it may concern. Pete Richter considers M.S.P. Trooper Bath to be a hero. There are too few Troopers with enough b _ lls to ticket a Deputy States Attorney......Citizens put your seat belts on for the next road block.

The reason I was late? Because I was giving a training to the police on Constitutional law. I am fairly certain that one of the rights based on the Constitution is the right to a fair trial. Yet you see no issue with publicly discussing information that you allege happened between a defendant and her attorney.

I have to make sure I don't have a tainted jury pool. Looks like you, the prosecutor, are tainting the jury pool.

My Friends.....I for one will take JMM Deputy States Attorney John Mark McDonald's advice. I will be in th court room on 11/19/09 in lovely downtown Centreville. Known by many as the corruption capital of the Eastern Shore. As long as Judge Ross is not underhandedly replaced by the infamous Judge John Sause the Whistle Blower has a chance for JUSTICE......"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere"M.L.K.

Was flipping through the channels this morning and noticed on Sesame Street that the phrase of the day today is "prosecutorial misconduct."
Next year is an election year and I certainly hope that JMM's posts are remembered when it comes time to vote. For this type of behavior to be condoned by JMM's supervisor is inexcusable and an excellent example of corruption at its finest.

safetidecember18th..........This is a summary of the Whistle Blower case from information I received.....Whistle Blower was the Human Resources Manager for a large Glen Burnie Company. After refusing to violate the law for the company her life was made miserable. Under pressure she was forced to quit her job, and then reported the company to the proper authorities. Said company does contract work for the Government. Illegals were hired instead of citizens, and the paper work was falsified to circumvent the law. Relatives and ghost employees were hired, and received paychecks at the taxpayers expense. The owner of the company lives in one of those $1,000,000.00 homes at the end of Cox Neck Rd.. Then the millionaire was able to have her charged with extortion and theft by the Q.A.Co. State's Attorneys Office for withdrawing her own 401K money and for attempting to negotiate a separation package.

I am sure many will disagree, but I think this has gone a bit far. It has become political and I am not sure why it has not been moved. I personally am not a believer of trying cases on public forums. We all have our opinions, some have a few facts, others believe they have certain knowledge, and in the end, there is the court of law.
If we are not satisified with the outcome there, then there are other avenues to pursue.
I for one believe much of the information being shared here is presented with strong opinions of different individuals who feel one way or another.
Now, it is turning into numerous issues. None of us really know all the facts in any of these circunstances and yet everyone seems to have taken a side for one reason or another. For me it is becoming disturbing to see the dissent of so many from differing sides.

pete..... You write, "from the information I received." Did you get any of this information from the prosecutor's office or did this come exclusively from Stacy and her family? I can imagine how one person's attempt to negotiate a separation package under threat of a "whistle blower" complaint might be another person's extortion.
JMM has as much right to defend himself as anyone else. This thread has been criticizing him and his employer for quite some time. A little balance can't hurt. I was struck by the tone of JMM's original post, but given the comments on the first 2 1/2 pages of this thread, I can understand the frustration.
Let's get the facts, all of them, for both these cases before tossing any more insults and accusations.
[edit] Enough with the insults! Comment on the facts but stop with the name calling. At the VERY least, get more creative.

Did you get any of this information from the prosecutor's office or did this come exclusively from Stacy and her family? I can imagine how one person's attempt to negotiate a separation package under threat of a "whistle blower" complaint might be another person's extortion. Actually, that information came from the charging documents as written by the Maryland State Police and the Circuit Court and the various whistleblower complaints and documentation. Saw it myself in the public record from the civil case available at the courthouse in Anne Arundel County. The extortion law is written as such that a person's legal right to blow the whistle and/or file a lawsuit is not grounds for extortion. The public records also indicate that the "alleged extortion" occurred on September 28, 2008, but that it was not reported by the former employer to the authorities until May 4, 2009 at the peak of the civil case. But, like everyone has said, I'm sure we don't know all the facts in this case from both sides. I would expect that a prosecutor would have thicker skin and far more professionalism though. This thread wasn't about whistleblowers or Save Stacy until the prosecutor turned it into that. Discussing a current case is a violation of ethics and professional conduct and an example of misconduct. But that's just my 2 cents.
