Zebadee wants to see Colt Brennan put in, I on the other hand believe Vinny Testaverde is available and might be a good fit ;D I kept trying to think who the 3rd q-back is; thanks zebadee! We'll see if the bingo caller does anything more than Zorn did....but until things start changing in the front office (as a starting point), I still don't hold out a lot of hope. Couldn't believe the KC kicker's name either....what a name to grow up with. I told the friend I was with when we heard his name that if ever there were a name with reasons for changing it legally, well, this kid's family has it! And, lastly, speaking of kickers, I still miss Matt Stover....

The only thing I know about football is the uniforms are ugly, it is mainly a man's game and they say the word penetrate.

Ok Redskin Fans, I have a few questions for you. I don't know much about your front office politics, (god knows we have our own jerryrama to deal with). Just reading your posts here and the news reports in the Washington Papers, (post, times, metro express, etc..) It seems that half the people blame the coach and the the other half blame the front office. It looks like to me you have a head coach who isn't allowed to coach. So why have a head coach? Who are the players looking to for leadership while they are out their on the field? And why aren't the players being held accountable as well? There seems to be a lot of hate for Dan Sneider and the other guy, Vincent what's his name, but in the big scheme of things, you are not going to get rid of him or them right? But is Zorn the problem? Is he not a good coach? Or is the armchair coaching tactics of the Front office making a mockery of all of this? And what is all this about him not allowed to make the plays, isn't that what the offensive coordinator does....Calls the plays? Why was Jason Campbell on the bench? Not performing? What is missing that can make your team click? Enough to start winning, (Not go to the playoffs, or Beat Dallas), but enough to encourage your fans.... (sorry, couldn't resist).... You know how it goes, you might not win another game this year except for against Dallas, knowing our luck!! LOL!!!

Eine, to answer your question in a nutshell, success and failure usually flows down from the top. In the Redskins case for the most part the last 10 years have been a failure in most fans minds. The front office, specifically the owner and GM, are probably considered somewhere in the bottom three in the NFL. Zorn is definitely handcuffed by "Vincent what's his name" as to how he operates the team. The players are hungry for leadership, and most seem to like Zorn, but are confused as to who will be managing what. Snyder cannot be removed, but "Vincent what's his name" could be if Snyder decides to. Zorn is not an ideal headcoach, but probably not as bad as the front office has made him look. They have an "offensive coordinator" (Sherm Smith) aside from Zorn, but they've now added to the confusion with the addition of Sherm Lewis, a former bingo caller, being added to call the plays. Players won't even know which "Sherm" is making the calls. Confusing, yes! Campbell is a loyal QB with some athletism, but at this point hard to tell if he could ever be a franchise QB, with all the problems surrounding him. Wins would be nice, but what is needed now for the 'skins to be successful, and I mean a few years down the line, is to start rebuilding with the mindset of a stable franchise in mind. With Snyder making the calls, good luck to all of us fans. Man, that was a bigger nutshell than I anticipated.
