I had it too when I stopped in after the plunge. It was excellent! I didn't stay long because their kitchen was closed & I had to go feed my kiddies.

It surely did smell good and looked good too!!!! Maybe next time I won't blow all my daily carbs on alcohol so I can sample the soups next time..

I stopped in No Place tonight for the first time. I had the Chicken Cheesesteak and sampled the Chicken Noodle Soup. Both were incredible and I made sure to say that to Carol (the cook). I went to the local McDonalds about a week ago - the staff there was not friendly at all.

Bad experience there tonight. The resident couple (the guy with the hat and flannel jacket & his wife) that are always there were drunk and into it - and the staff couldn't control it. The owners weren't there. F' this - F' that - loud and uncontrollable. We left mid-meal and I was informed that no matter how good the food - that experience isn't worth returning to. Sad.

Al.. I hope the ignorance & inconsideration of those 2 don't keep you from going back... they have great food - typically good service & really friendly folks there... however, it is a tavern & some idiots get drunk & ruin the fun for everyone... however, it's not the norm there I don't think... But I will definitely bring it up to Stan & Sue when I see them today because I know EXACTLY who you are talking about...

Always enjoy the food at No Place. Stan and Sue really try to to a good job and I commend them. Great jukebox, playing pool, the peanuts. Really started going there more after the smoking ban, not so much now, lunch at times after a motorcycle ride......Lukes is our place now.
Shorti, I hope you do speak to them about that guy. He's not helping to attract new customers. I've seen times when he should have been cut off, but wasn't.
We had friends visiting from Chambersburg, PA over the summer (steelers fans), went to No Place one evening, we sat at backside of bar, the drunk couple cornered us there, our ladies had to go to the restroom, couldn't get by because of them. I ended up having words with the guy, not much good that did.
Unfortunately, I got the impression from the bartender (not Laurie) and some other customers that thought of me like.....the nerve of you, who do you think you are and besides, why are you even here. I consider myself a local, have lived on the shore for 8 years and was born and raised in Harford County.
Oh well, so be it.

We stopped in last night for the first time since the 17th. Jerry apologized for that guy's behavior when we were last there - he said he knew that's why we left. He told us that the guy has been banned from No Place for a year and his wife for 90 days.

You can't get anything that good for that price any where in the area. What was the deal with the beer? That first one goes down fast and you want that next one quick.....right. Hopefully the first one was served in a glass and not the plastic cups that appear at times.
