OK, here's my 2 cents, still on topic, I guess
I do believe there's life- of some sort out there, besides US. If it can happen here, it can happen out there. I don't know if they've visited us or not. I think if they have- we would know for sure, if they can travel across the galaxies, our gov't or any gov't would not be able to cover it up, no way.
I have to believe in Ghosts, I saw my Uncle, My one and only blood relative Uncle, AFTER he passed away. I just saw him, in the doorway, nothing more to it, he was there.

Mike, what you don't get? Wow that would be a first so I'll explain it to you. You seem to think you know everything so any question asked you should be able to answer it, even if it is in a sarcastic way that doesn't give much credibility to your answer ;D. Do you understand now, or are you still

Just wondering who would and why they would tap your phones and following you people around town? Are you considered a security threat of some kind? I just don't get it.
And what... does Mike dispatch them?

I've actually been to Antietam a couple of times and stayed at an Inn right on the battlefield backed up to the cemetary. That was really a creepy place but has nothing on Gettysburg in my opinion.

I've been to Antietam numerous times. 3 of the 5 people I was with saw a man walking up a hill towards them with arms out. I unfortunately had my back turned. However I did hear many muffled gun and cannon noises.

Gettysburg! Now, you're talkin'! There's a campground called Artillery Ridge (717-334-1288) that is the only campground closest (walking distance) to an entrance into the park -- day or.....DARK OF NIGHT..... preferably under a full moon......You will pass by the ranger's house (be sure to walk in backwards or you'll never make it), then come up to a crest. Careful, it's a rock ledge with a statute on it (I want to say Reynolds but not sure). Go to your left, at the tower, go down the hill backwards holding carefully to the trees as you go down. Walk to your left around the entire hill and you will be on an open battlefield. It is told, on July 4th weekend (date of the battle -- one of the dates) campfires can be seen, and you will see soldiers sitting around talking and laughing. Devil's Den will be immediately in front of you and the Triangle to it's left. I DARE YOU!!! Don't make noise -- the rangers patrol, but you will not be alone. It's a major rush! And listen for horse hooves in the leaves.......my most favorite place! Point Lookout, nothing happened. Antietam -- visited once during the day years ago, nothing happened. Gettysburg -- is magical.

The house I own and the one next door are both haunted. We believe it to be the ghost of a 12 year old boy, whose grave is in the back part of the neighbors property. Both of my neighbors young children have seen and asked their parents who the boy is back there. Also very strange things have happened in both our houses. Neither of you houses are that old either and no one has ever died in either of the houses. I've lived in my house 22 years, before that the original owner lived in it 2 years before being transfered and then it sat empty for 3 years , before we bought it.
The house next door was owned by a person I had known for several years. He and his wife were older and their children were all grown up. We moved next door about about 4 years after he bought his house. Most of that time he lived there, our house was empty. We had 2 kids when we moved in and when we started having strange things happen at first we thought it was just the kids or the dog, but a few things happened while no one was there that were unexplainable. We mentioned it to our neighbor and he said that before we moved in, they had problems with their windows going up (not Down), and doors opening or closing, but now it had stopped.
We never had any windows go up, but doors you had shut tight would be opened and vice versa. Most of the time, it would be things would disappear for a few days and then turn up somewhere that would be obvious to be seen. This happened with my daughters glasses. They were gone for 3 days and couldn't be found. We went on a vacation and when we returned, there were her glasses laying in the middle of the family room floor. Another time we went out and left our dog in the house. There is one bedroom we kept locked from the outside due to guns in that room. When we came home, we couldn't find the dog anywhere. Just for the heck of it we unlocked that door and out runs a very hyper dog. I know for sure she wasn't in there before we left, for I had just left her outside and when she came back, we left. She was downstairs at that time and the bedrooms are upstairs.
Normal things were sounds like things fallong over with a crash or bang and when you ran to see what it was you never find anything. Footsteps going up and down the steps. One time I thought my son was trying to sneak out late at night. I got up and ran to the steps and didn't see or hear anything. I then looked in his room and he looked at me and I said I thought you were going down the steps. He said he thought it was me going down the steps. My kids have been gone for several years now. Since then in my sons room you would hear low voices, but you could never make out what was being said. None of us have ever seen anything. The closest I ever came was feeling something flick by my ear, while sitting here in my computer room. No windows open, no furnace, just a breeze by my left ear, like someone flicked their hand by it quickly. This was only about a year or so ago. Since my old neighbors moved out and this young couple that bought it has had a couple kids, it's usually pretty quiet in our house. However my eldest daughter, who never lived here, stayed here one night with here husband. They stayed in my sons room and she said that at some point during the night someone or something was sitting on her legs and it wasn't her husband.
It got to the point when something would happen we would just chuckle and say "the ghost just wants some attention". Since things happened so gradually and we really didn't put two and two together until later, when the more obvious thing started happening, we just became accustomed to it's antics and let it go.
The gravestone that my old neighbor found was from about 1912 and had the name of a young boy who was about 11 or 12. I thought about looking it up one day, but the stone disappeared at some point, while a new house was being built behind my neighbors house. We think the spec builder took it because he was afraid no one would buy it with a grave there.

Down route 8 in the area of the golf course. I'm not going to give out any more info as to the location, because I may be putting it up for sale in the near future and I don't want to scare off any buyers.
My selling it has nothing to do with the happenings, in fact we've become quite accustomed to it. It's just that I may retire soon and we'll be looking for a state that is a little kinder to people living on a retirement income. Possibly DE or PA.
