I use Dr. Baker at Kent Island Chiropractic & Rehabilitation, near The Winery. She's very gentle and really takes time to get to understand the patient's problems. www.kichiropractic.org/

Not the way to go....chiropractor's screw u up more than help. We all have an opinion.. I have no doubt there are many people in virtually every profession that are completely incompetent. But, in my own personal experience that started in the late 50's when our HS football team physician was additionally licensed and trained in chiropractics, they can do wonders! That guy could find things wrong with me that I didn't know I had! In later years when I had trouble with a vertebrae that would occasionally move and pinch nerves, I had a friend who had a business in Baltimore. He could fix me in a heartbeat. Unfortunately he retired and died many years ago. The last time I needed a Chiropractor was several years ago. I fell asleep with my head propped up on the arm of the sofa. Woke up with a stiff neck that would not go away. I put up with it for a couple months and finally decided I needed help. I went to one of the local Chiropractors on KI. He put me through Xrays, electrical stimulus treatments and sold me pillows to sleep on. Never did he do any skeletal manipulations. Another physician I went to suggested I needed neck fusion surgery!! I finally gave up and figured I was just going to have to live the rest of my life with this annoying neck problem. The good news - I woke up one morning about a year later and the neck was fine!! What I discovered during this period which lasted for over a year was modern Chiropractics avoids skeletal or muscular manipulations like the plague!! I guess they have all figured out that many injuries go away without treatment over time. All they need to do in the interim is take xrays, give you muscle relaxing drugs, and get you to pay for an office visit once a week. Sweet! Obvious there have been too many lawsuits won by unhappy patients that have made Chiropractors cautious about any physical treatment until all other options are exhausted. Unfortunate. As I stated above, my experience with Chiroprators that actually are willing to manipulate you have been very positive. Best regards, BC

I would not recommend Baker. Hurt my neck and blamed me for it. Very arrogant and rude staff as well. I used the guy in the medical office around the corner from Baker with Dr. Sprouse. He was great and staff was nice. Hope this helps.

LOL...you know what is so funny about that link..the Morello person replies to themselves like they are signed in as a different person. Hilarious....some people are so stupid... I went to Jennings....years and years ago. he did all the spine manipulations...yada yada yada...but what was wrong with my spine (degeneration of the neck and mid back could not be fixed by a chiro...) but I will say he did make my headache go away. I do NOT like how they jerk your head to the side to make it pop...I would never go to one again...just my personal opinion and no reflection on Dr. Jennings...

He lost his license and is practicing illegally for treating people just as he apparently treated bluecrabber (for the record I don't know bluecrabber, but I know the local chiro's and there could be only one doc bluecrabber refers to) . If you had a bad experience with Dr. Baker try her again. Really. That had to be a fluke the people in that office are fabulous.
