Since no one replied, I gave them a try.
Nearly empty, took 5 to 7 minutes to make 2 sandwiches. Ok.
Employees did not seem too excited to be working there. A little friendliness goes a long way..smile, act like you care.
Tried turkey sub and roast beef sub. Definitely better than most places...beef and turkey appear to be "pulled", not actually sliced fresh from a real piece of meat. Had a good flavor and enjoyed the sandwiches. Sub rolls were good but seemed a little strange...like they were artificially made crispy...if that makes sense?
Overall, a decent place for sandwiches for that long trip or beach snack. Would prefer freshly sliced turkey and Rb.

I agree with Dee Lightful, I had the turkey twice, both times it tasted bland.. no flavor.

I was there just an hour or so ago; the place was very busy. I got the "Bobbie's sub", light on mayo, and I thought it was really good! For one, it was actually LIGHT ON MAYO. The service was good and prompt and for a sub that will likely last two meals for me, it's a good deal. I'll be going there again.

Food is okay, service stinks! They need to have somebody that understands English take the orders. Out of 10 orders only 8 had been correct. Even asked that the owner call me, he never did. Lost my business. Sorry but there is to many other places that need the business.

Language Barrier? Agree with Mike here. I've never had an issue and am a frequenter. Their cheesesteak is killer.

Food above average, not exceptional. Place is clean. I would go there if needed to sit down with others for a fast lunch, otherwise Love Pt. Deli or Little Bennett Store.

Thanks Greyghost - I forgot about the Little Bennett Point Store. They have the best Italian sub, and chicken salad. I think that is the call today for Lunch.

It's the Bennett Point Store, there's no "little" in the name. Cheapest gas prices around, they sell booze and one of the greatest things is that if you're out boating on the Wye, you can go into Bryantown Landing and walk over to the store to get needed supplies.

I think you all are missing the boat. This place is awesome! They cook so many slabs of beef and turkey a day that are used, none of that processed crap every other deli uses. Ask them to show the turkeys and slabs of beef they are pulling from. Cooked every day there. How much fresher can you get? There is one in Dover that I drive 10 miles out of the way when passing thru just to go to get "The Bobbie". I was down on my luck a few years ago and hitch hiked all the way there and back over four days just to get one of their subs.

Had a cheesesteak at Capriotti's today and it was easily the equal of the ones I have had at No Place. Not up to Pat's or Geno's in Phili but good. Fast and efficient service. Pleasant experience!

Went to Capriotti's a couple of days ago. Ordered a hot italian sub that was was just okay. Also ordered a bowl of Maryland crab soup that had absolutely zero crab in it, but it did have plenty of salt. Service from youngsters was terrible, however the adult that took over was extremely pleasant. Someone else in this thread said that a smile goes a long way. They're right.

Jim's on South Street has the best steak sandwich in Philly... at least in my opinion. If you haven't been you should check it out. If you have and you don't agree... you're mistaken.
