Looking at getting the clubs out. I haven't played since I moved to the shore over ten years ago.
What courses to you like out here local and why? I'm not going to go over the bridge.....wow, Eisenhower and Rudy's Tavern, those were the days. Easton is probably out too, unless it's a must go to type of place for some reason. Suggestions?
What about driving ranges at any courses? Is that place up on Ritchie Highway in Arnold still operating?
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure its still open. you can try Blue Heron on Rt 8 not a great course but for a "NEW" beginner like yourself it will do. or if $$$ allows try Queenstown

I haven't been on Blue Heron since the rehab. It's not a bad course... Its somewhat affordable..... I played on the military bases more often then naught... might be easier to get a tee time now that we are retired!! HAHAHAH!!
I am hoping to swing the clubs a bit more this summer as well.... I miss it!!!
But Heron and Queenstown are the two closest, I guess fairly affordable... considiering what the private clubs charge....

Hmmm.. Blue Heron is the least expensive for a close place where nobody will laugh at you.. The best deal in the area (sorry you have to cross the bridge) is Bay Hills in Arnold. Nice course with great rates. Us old guys play with a cart and sometimes free lunch or breakfast for about $39. Here is a link: www.bayhillsgolf.com/Hog Neck in Easton is also reasonable and the championship course is very nice. The Executive course is pretty decent also, especially for a duffer like most of us are! www.hogneck.com/golf/proto/hogneck/rates/rates.htm
