No matter your opinion of the recent scandal at Penn State and Joe Pa's handling of the situation.....nobody is perfect, nor is there a handbook available for all the situations life throws at us.......but his good deeds far outweigh the bad in many more aspects than just football. Thanks JoePa, you made PSU great for a lot of people for many years!
Heaven hired the best football coach today!

I beg to differ as those boys will forever live with what has been done to them. But I was taught not to speak ill of the dead...so I will leave it at that.

After all Joe has done for the kids and college and town it was wrong how they fired him just wrong.

After all Joe has done for the kids and college and town it was wrong how they fired him just wrong. Also wrong how everyone crucified him as if he was the one who committed a crime. He did what he thought he should do and report it to his bosses. Could he have done more, yes and he was first to admit it. I believe that he died of a broken heart. After all he did for the University all those years and then to have them rip his heart out the way they did is horrible!

ditto to Island tech!!
It's a shame that when ever he is remembered...the years of greatness is overshadowed by this one ugly thing......
I too think he died of a broken heart..
