I need to have some clothes altered. Does anyone know a very good alterations place that isn't too expensive? There is a dry cleaner in Centreville by the Acme...and it says they do alterations. I can't speak from experience as to how good or bad they are since I haven't used them yet.

I'm also interested in this question. My mother-in-law used to do the hemming and such that I needed (I'm short and most pants and dresses are way too long for me), but her hands are bad now: so I need to find another option.

Not really a "guy' type thread, but being single I have ocassions when I've needed stuff done and used the cleaner near Food Lion. Had them shorten the sleeves on a nice sport jacket I bought on line last summer and seemed very professional checking your fit. The finished product was excellent. Don't remember the cost but must have been reasonable or I would have remembered

Lisa's Alterations in Easton. I can post her number tomorrow... She does a lot of wedding/prom dresses, but I am sure she will do more commonplace alterations. Her work is exceptional so I would expect to pay the full pop, but, seems to be worth it from all her good feedback.message me if you want more info!
