Chesapeake Cats & Dogs has three boxers available for adoption. Pictured here is Oscar, 5 years old. Also available: Daisy, 6 years old and Brewster, 8 years old. All three are good natured and good with other dogs. Owner had to surrender them when she lost her home. Please help us spread the word and find them new homes. Thanks! Attachments:

Good Morning, I was wondering if the boxers were still available for adoption?

Oscar, the one pictured, has been adopted. His parents, Daisy and Brewster, are both still available. They can be adopted separately, but they must go to homes that have dogs and loving families! If you'd like more information or would like to meet them, they are staying at Dandyland Pet Care Center with owner Ginny Kates. You can contact her at 410-758-4555.

They have to go to a home that already has a dog?? Loving family won't be a problem....I am thinking you are cutting out a large part of the population that might want a boxer but don't have another dog. To me it shouldn't matter if they have another dog...only the family should matter.

OK thanks for the info.
Although I don't entirely agree ~ I presume that the reason you say "but they must go to homes that have dogs" is because the dogs are use to having a companion around??
As far as a "Loving Family" ~ I would never even consider passing on the info to someone who wasn't! :-)

Please let me clarify: We would PREFER that Daisy and Brewster go homes with other dogs (especially if they are going to be split up) because they are used to having canine companions (in addition to humans).
