Condos....what a view (sarcasm) I think they are also going to have stores...but I am not sure what. My friends sister bought one of the condos already...she is just holding on to it to make money. Can't say I would like to live there...

Can't say I would like to live there... I can say I wouldn't like to, and I grew up within 5 miles of the hideous monstrosity that they are building. I wish your friend's sister well, but in this market that would be a gamble I don't think I'd take. What a great money grab for A.A.County and the state. Taxes, permits, inspections, fees, and god knows what other money they will make from all that mess.

Their tenant list boasts quite a few restaurants...
Target , Whole Foods, Bed Bath & Beyond, EMS, Smyth, Talbot's, Anthropologie, Brooks Brothers, Real Seafood, Chop House, Brio, Gordon Biersch, PF Changs, Daily Grill, Silver Diner.
I am looking forward to having a PF Changs so close!

I am looking forward to having a PF Changs so close! And not a single working mans store in the bunch. Do they need another Diner with one across the street? I gguess they do need more restaurants, I've seen 3 hour waits for some on the weekends over there.

To me the place looks like its going to be a traffic nightmare to get in and out of. If you look in there the roads don't look very wide and the entrance/exit to the parking garages are fairly close to the entrance on Forest Drive.
You think about all the traffic that Target, Whole Foods, Bed Bath and Beyond will create by themselves moving around in that small area and it just looks like its going to be one huge traffic jam trying to get in, around, and out. But who knows maybe they have it layed out in there to make it easy.

Or are they closing with the opening of this new shopping center?

Whole Foods is closing their Harbor Center store. Bed Bath and Beyond will likely keep both open until their lease runs in Harbor Center.

Does anyone remeber the Haunted House Trailer that would be put in the parking lot for Halloween??? It is so funny reading all of this stuff. The Pet shop was my favorite place.
