Isn't there a certain irony in us attacking Syria from our anti-war president? We're using weapons of mass destruction as an excuse again? Didn't work out so well for Bush, but I'm sure Obama will skate right through this again. Why are the Dems not up in arms? Where is the media? Where are the protestors? Where is the outrage? I'm not an Obama hater, but he ran on the platform of change, anti-war, transparent government, etc. So far, he is no different than Bush. Pres Bush lost a lot of support for his actions, but Obama has sent our military to more countries than Bush ever did - while cutting the military budget to the bone. Why does the media love him, and hate Bush. Is it all a Republican/Democrat thing? Or white guilt? Or buying votes/donations? Or am I just reading too much into this?

Pondered this for a while obviously. Obama is a lame duck now so he doesn't have any re-election baggage to worry about. And ticking off his base is less important than the firestorm of turning Iraq over to an endless swarm of Sunni militants. Remember "who lost China?" Nothing ever happens by accident. Bush kicked over the hornets nest, oversaw the economy tank then bailed out his Wall Street buddies to boot. Anyway, I'm so d@#%ed afraid of that ebola who's got time for that geopolitical stuff.

My point was we voted in 'hope and change',and we got the same old stuff. Since 2008, we've sent troops into 7 different countries. This is from a man that campaigned a an anti-war candidate. The gap between rich and poor is wider than ever.

The gap between rich and poor is wider than ever. Which is also Ironic because everyone say's "he's a socialist"
