I find it interesting that the many conservatives on this site, (except the one delusional one), seem to have nothing to say about the current crop of Republicans.
Why is that?

I suspect that one of the resons that Trump is at the top of the heap, is due to the poor quaility of the competition. I mean really, who are these guys and what have they accomplished? Not much, other than pander to the crazies. Being at the top of the shyte pile is no claim to fame.
Guess we will find out how big the population of dumb basses is come November.
BTW, The Douchebag lost South Carolina- 66% of republican voters picked somebody else.

I find it interesting that the many conservatives on this site, (except the one delusional one), seem to have nothing to say about the current crop of Republicans. Why is that? It's because they all suck! And please, Hillary and Bernie suck too! (either of them would be a disaster) Obama sucks! There is nobody I would consider 'Presidential' in the race. We have had 8 years of hardship due to the mishandling of our economy by our current administration, the gulf war from our previous administration, and the foundation for the housing market collapse from the Clinton era. None of the candidates consider what the people want. Their actions are not based on what's best for the majority, but the outspoken, special interest groups, campaign donors, etc. Politicians are supposed to represent the people, not the other way around. (hence, public servants)

The election is more about what barry seotoro has done to America in his eight years in office. The republicans have been voted into both houses and still the march to the left continues. Americans feel betrayed.

If I didn't feel so strongly that Trump would destroy America as we know it, I would sit back and laugh if he got elected.
Simply put, he cannot function internationaly, domestically, or in any other venue. He advocates for things that are un constitutional, morally wrong, and just stupid. Congress will be forced to remove him, at the potential cost of a civil war.
Of course, since the Senate majority leader has announced that they are no longer bound to carry out duties specifically cited in the Constitution, we may already be on the road.
By the way, don't know about the dumb bass, but even the Wall St. Journal acknowledges that employment is better, the economy stronger, and the chance of recession in the near term is slight. It was a hail of a deep hole to dig out of, but the last 8 years have seen steady improvement.

More part time jobs being made so the companies don't have to pay for insurance coverage. Don't believe what you read.

It looks like Trump's world is slowly starting to crumble. Last night's debate was not good for him. Its exciting to watch and follow the up/downs that happen on daily. The system is working the way it was meant to work. I can't wait for the RNC Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. You can't make this stuff up! I don't want to see my choice for candidate picked for me by the media. Killary has been the choice of the liberals for almost eight years and she struggling against a G D socialist. America! I Love This Country! BLM will riot in the streets of Cleveland during the RNC Convention. Just saying.

94 million out of work where? All the tradesmen I know are crying for good help and can't get people to show up and work. Lots of jobs out there for people with intellegence and skills.
I take it you are still out of work?
Don't worry, the Donald will make it all better. Only a dumb bass would believe that.

You should get one of those tradesman to give you a job or check out some of the stores on Rt 50 in Stevensville for employment but you'll only get hired part time because the owners don't want to pay for barry seotoro care. 94 million Americans out of work, The highest in the history of the United States. 47 million Americans on food stamps. Poverty at a 50 year high.

I'm no Trump fan, but I'm a whole lot less of a fan of the career dinosaur politicians that are the other choices. NONE of the career nutjobs have made a difference in their whole career, why would anyone think that will change now? So yeah, I'm an idiot, right now Trump has my vote by default. I do hope he doesn't go 3rd party as that will get Killary voted in. I've never been so embarrassed to be a Democrat than I am now to see the useless worthless choices that they have put out there. And No I don't vote party line, ever.

Its interesting to watch the development of all this. At first, I thought that Trump would flame out as he spews pure snake oil and people would be smart enough to figure out that he is a fake. Looks like a large number of republicans don't want to think, aren't smart enough to think, or are happy being mushrooms. Lord knows, he has dumped enough horse shyte on them.
People need to wake up and listen carefully to what he says, or rather what he doesn't say. What he dose't say is anything of substance, how he intends that his vision be achieved, or who his team is that will help him. Are you ready for Sarah Palin to have a significant role? Haven't we figured out that she is dumber than a bag of hammers yet?
Wake up people, or you will start seeing the yellow triangles on people. If you don't get the reference, study history. That situation started with the same type of speachifying as we are hearing now.
This is worse than watching George Wallace in his prime. At least he didn't pretend to be anything he wasn't.

Every day I expect Trump to bow out and say "I just wanted to wake the party up" or "shake the party up", but it doesn't happen. It's like a bad episode of The Twilight Zone. Meanwhile, all the candidates tear each other apart. There are no good choices in this election. Hopefully things will smooth out.

I get it! Its this kind of speech that cause groups to slap a triangle on other who are less tolerant of others. "You got into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." Quote from barry soetoro. Sarah Palin would be the equivalent of Joe Biden so we would have two bags of hammers. People have had a triangle attached to them under barry soetoro's 7 years. If you don't get the reference switch your news sites. FYI George Wallace was a democrat.

I fail to understand what your hate for the current president has to do with Trump being any sort of a quality candidate.
George Wallace was a democrat, so was Strom Thurmond. Abraham Lincoln was a republican. What do you suppose he would think of the donald? Labels change, but stupid people do not.
Fox news is simply not news. Walter Cronkite and his generation of journalists must be rolling in their graves, as are republicans like Mac Mathias and Everett Dirckson.
The republican/ fox mantra of everything is screwed up and its all Obama's faullt is a huge contributor to the donald's popularity. People tend to believe things they hear often enough, even if it is documentable as a lie.
Elected officials are buying it: The West Virginia Legislature is busy trying to outlaw science in their state.
I am from the type of small town that is referred to in your quote. I go back occassionally, and let me tell you the guy was right. People sit there and cry the the government isn't doing enough to re open the buggy whip factory, or that its the governments fault that all the coal got mined up 50 years ago, or its the governmnets fault that they are just plain stupid. The people with drive and smarts got out and continue to get out. What business wants to locate in a town with no workforce worth a crap? None. its self perpetuating.

Read the Fact Checks on what Trump says - He's a bad liar and he lies often. The problem is that Cruz and Rubio are plastic politicians that are running on archaic ideas that appeal only to hicks and the loonies, like closing Planned Parenthood, closing the Department of Education, etc. Trump seems less than genuine when he apes the God & Guns stuff, and he seems like he is serious when he spouts the anti-Muslim stuff and anti-immigration stuff. Most people really don't care about anything nearly as much as terrorism and job growth, and while Trumps ideas are not good and not doable, he's the only one hitting the target. Tough on terror, tough on immigration and keeping jobs here, and he makes the other two look wimpy right to their face because they are wimps. It's easy to see why Trump is doing well, it's just a shame that there isn't anyone running against him that is equally as charismatic, but with good ideas that can be done. The Dems, well, Hillary is the poster person for lifelong corruption, and Bernie doesn't stand a chance against her, not he's chock full of realistic ideas either. In short, we're stuck with either 4 years of scandals, or 4 years of gridlock because nobody will work with Trump. If Trump gets in, the Republicans will lost the House in 2 years and then it will be a whole different kind of wall for him.

Once again, your single minded hatred of the sitting president, does not make the donald any sort of candidate that the American public should support. His positions are the opposite of everthing this country stands for. Simply put, he appears to be crazy, and is pandering to fellow crazies.
I wonder what will happen when he goes a little further over the line, incites a riot from the podium and somebody dies as a result. Will law enforcement have the guts to charge him with the felony? He comes very very close every time he opens his mouth.
Bullshyte is not a political platform, its just bullshyte. Even a dumb bass should be able to figure that out.

Good to see you stepped outside of your safe space. Trump is a grow adult he can say what he feels, it's not Trumps fault that some black live matter or move on.org protester show up at a Trump Rally and starts a riot. Just like it's not your fault for a fork or spoon making you fat. The only crazies are the liberal left who are losing their minds because someone has enough cojones to stand up for what he believes in and speaks his mind. The true hatred is from the left who try and shut down free speech which in case you didn't know is a first Admendment right. "Get em out of here" is offensive but saying "Pigs in a blanket fry em up like bacon" is peaceful. If that's what you believe than you are part of the problem. FYI A known terrorist was at the rally for Trump. This terrorist is a good friend of barry Seotoro and his terrorist friend also has blood on his hands from planting and exploding bomb right here on American soil. He was protesting against the Donald. Bill Ayers. I think it's time you emancipate yourself from your party and look and see what is happening.

Wow. Your thinking is so screwed up that I can only hope you seek treatment soon.
Urging supporters to physically assault those who disagree with you is wrong. Period, no matter who or what the circumstances. It is beyond the pale for a candidate for the highest elected office in the land to behave as he donald has. He can say what he "feels" but without any factual foundation for his "feelings", true Americans must repute him and find another path. Frankly, he appears to more and more a raving lunatic.
None of the protesters who are "disrupting" rallys by wearing t shirts or otherwise making it apparent that they disagree are running for POTUS. Trump is. That requires a higher standard of behavior. One he has so failed to meet that he is a joke. The fact that he has the support of a some 30% of an "organized" political party speaks badly of them, and of all Americans.
We are better than this, and must do better than this.
Wake up America.
