People who enter this country illegally commit a crime against us by breaking our immigration laws. These lawbreakers hope that leaders in America will continue to overlook this crime. As I write this, we don’t know how many million illegals are in the United States due to our leader’s refusal to enforce our immigration laws. We don’t know how many billions of dollars have been spent on education, healthcare, and incarceration of these lawbreakers over the last forty years. We don’t want to measure the impact this “failure to enforce” has had on our ever-growing deficit and ever weakening economy.
Donald Trump, our newly elected President, sensed the rising anger of the American people about this “failure to enforce” and swept a path to victory claiming that he would enforce immigration laws. He spoke plainly about the subject. He took on those who support illegal immigration as he competed for the White House.
As I listen to President Trump lately, I fear that he will blink as he stands toe to toe with the issues that got him elected. Already, he is talking about his “compassion” for the dreamers. Already, he has talked about how he does not want to hurt the Clinton family. He sounds less and less like the man who claimed he would be the law and order candidate. The Clintons and the illegals have looted our land in plain view of over 300 million Americans.
If I could tweet, I would tweet this to Donald. Enforce our laws or stand aside so we can find someone who will enforce our laws.

People tend to mix the words immigrants with illegal immigration. They are two totally different things even though some people try to use them interchangeably. Almost all of us are immigrants. Illegal immigration is exactly that - ILLEGAL. Thousands of people are going through the vetting process to become American citizens and patiently wait to be approved. But someone jumps the fence and sneaks into this country because he is a 'dreamer' and we should say screw those people waiting to be allowed in, this guy is already here. It's breaking our laws as soon as you cross the border.
My grandparents were immigrants. They waited 5 years before being allowed into this country. They were processed through Ellis Island and have a brick with their name on it at the wall. My grandfather was a cobbler (shoemaker) and could not find work in NYC. Signs in windows read "Help wanted, Irish and Italian need not apply". He moved his family to Washington DC and set up a small shoe repair shop on Pennsylvania Ave. They lived in an all Italian neighborhood and never learned English. They never got a handout. They never got food stamps, housing, or welfare. He worked hard and supported his family. That was the American dream for him.

👏👏👏👏👏 to Frank. As a second generation Irish-American whose Grandparents also entered this country legally and worked hard against the discrimination of the Irish immigrants, I so appreciate your spot on description of the difference between immigrant and illegal immigrant. Rewarding anyone who breaks our laws by entering this country illegally is ridiculous, and offensive to those who have entered, and are now in the process of entering legally.

Mar 1, 2017 at 3:16pm by by by said: Enjoy your new leader Thanks U.S. added 235,000 jobs in February; unemployment rate dropped to 4.7 percent The U.S. economy added a healthy 235,000 jobs in February, according to government data released Friday morning, surpassing economists' expectations and likely clearing the way for the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates this month. The unemployment rate ticked down to 4.7 percent, compared with 4.8 percent in January, and wages rose by 6 cents to $26.09 in February, after a 5-cent increase the month before. “It’s definitely a solid report,” said Tara Sinclair, an economist at George Washington University. “This is the kind of number that the Federal Reserve was looking to receive before their meetings next week.” Looks like its working out just fine! Thank You.

What a deep and thoughtful response.
Could you contribute by sharing with us what part of the above posts you disagree with? For example, do you think it's OK for some immigrants to wait patiently for legal access, while others climb a wall or pay a mule and sneak in illegally? How do you think another candidate would've handled the "illegal" part in such a way that would be an improvement?

Pass him a box of tissue's so he can sit in the corner and cry like a little baby because he didn't get his way.
