Hi! I'm interested in finding out about what it's like to live on KI and the surrounding areas. If you have made a move into that area or nearby areas, I would especially love to hear from you.
My husband and I have been looking at Four Seasons which seems to be a lovely community. If anyone has anything they can share about Four Seasons, that would be great too.
We currently live in northern Baltimore County. We are looking to downsize into an adult community and the location of KI and its beautiful surroundings are highly appealing.
We are also curious about where to shop, churches, and summer traffic.
Was there anything that came as a surprise to you (good or bad) that you wish you knew before moving there?
I apologize for so many questions. This is an important decision and a move we hope to make once.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Laurie

Hello, I have lived on Kent Island for the last 15 years and it's a great place to be. As far as churches, I believe you'll find most denominations here within reasonable distance. Shopping locally, you'll find the basics and a lot of terrific small businesses. As for as a clothing store, the Queenstown Outlets is about 10 miles down the road. Lots of great restaurants. The only bummer is the Summer Bridge Traffic, it causes pretty much a gridlock on the weekends, especially on Sundays, when the ocean visitors are headed home. If you need to run a quick errand, do it early in the morning or you could be stuck in traffic for over an hour, literally! hope this helps.
