Its only pre-season, but I think its going to be a very, very, very long season for both the Redskins and Ravens!

Well, I really didn't have any expectations, much less high expectations from last night's game. It's the 4th game of pre-season. What that means is the teams were putting their least experienced players that they had available out on the field to see what they could do if we had to go 3 or 4 deep into the roster. The only reason any of our good players would be out on the field the game before the actual season got underway would be because we had absolutely no one else to put out there and, even then, they aren't going to risk getting hurt by giving a full force performance against guys that probably won't make their team and just want to kill someone on field before they get sent home. The game last night was in no way indicative of what the season holds. It was a simply an exercise to see what the 3rd and 4th stringers could manage in each of their positions in a "pressure" situation (read: televised). I certainly hope the coaches and such were able to find out what they needed to but with any luck at all we won't have to utilize any of those guys in a game that actually "counts" toward anyone's win/loss record for the year.

My Ravens look like a real mess right now. I have a bad feeling about this season. I have season tickets and didn't even bother going last night. With the bridge mess and the lackluster effort I have seen I figured it was a waste of time. Maybe both teams will "wake up" once the real season begins but I'm not hopeful at the moment.

I am looking forward to this season.. however I am not looking forward to the bandwagon fans. Everyone will "hate" the Ravens this year, because they will not do too well. It's a first year with a new coach and no solid QB. So nothing will happen this year, maybe split Wins / Losses.. but EVERYONE will be so Anti-Raven this year I will vomit. However, I will be cheering win or lose.

Shedding 0 tears for you-Skins have had so many coaches I've lost count-we NEVER got that "new coach/new player" break-(especially from Raven fans)-good for you to stick with your team-THAT is a true fan.....as hard as it can be SG68-Unfortunately, many first string players were in last weeks games-1st half -not after it went straight to hell..... Wow Shore-i remember the days i would have stayed West to get to a game.....don't blame you a bit-like I said, I won't be wasting time in front of the tv this season-i am tired of being grumpy all Sunday long!!!

Watching a 10 loss season won't look too pretty on such a nice new TV!! Personally, I'm not a bandwagon hater of Baltimore. I always have hated everything Baltimore, everything about it. I'm a fanatic Dallas Cowboys follower, and I still hate Baltimore more than the Skins.

Have had seasons tickets to the Redskins since 1962. Always been a fan, win or lose. Because of the parking situation and the dismal-looking season, we are thinking about giving up those tickets for the first time ever. An extra thousand dollars give or take every year might feel better in the pocket than in Snyder's pocket.

Glad to see so many Dallas Fans! I live with a die hard Redskins fan (who - uhhhh right now - is in the living room using horribly foul language). I was raised in Texas so he doesn't even attempt to convert me. I hope the Redskins have a great season though -- it sure makes life a lot easier here if they do -- I'd like to have a season where I don't have to close the windows iduring a game in fear of what language the neighbors might here.

The Cowboys look real good but until Romo shows me that he can get through the playoffs without choking I wouldn't write them in for the Superbowl just yet. We have a rookie quarterback going this season so my hope is only for an injury-free promicing season, but not expecting too many games in the win column.
