JV Bucs won their home game tonight against Col. Richardson, 36-0. This keeps their undefeated streak alive and well. Col. Richardson has decided to forfeit their next game against the Bucs, so it brings our wins to 7 for the Bucs. We sure are proud of our coaches and players. GO BUCS!

Thanks Barb! Do you have any pics of your son on the team? First year? Wow! If you do have a photo, why don't you post one here? I'd love to see it!

I took hundreds of pictures at each game...lol...first time sport mom...My son was in the first class that went all the way through KI High from 9-12...the class of 2002. I will have to dig out some pictures...I will have to dig out a picture...can't do it right now.... Barb Note...when they first had a foot ball team..they didn't have enough for JV and the regular football...they only had a JV team...

I think it was Kent County High who forfeited because they did not want to play KIHS.

My Son made an observation a couple weeks back.. he made note that last years high school team was the first group that had come all the way up in the county youth football programs. In other words, by the time they were seniors in high school they had about 8 years of football experience. Makes a big difference. Both public schools in the county have excellent football programs. And, seem to be very well coached. (This is an opinion from someone who played in the WPIAL conference back when football was king and sacked Joe Namath when he played for Beaver Falls HS.) Best regards, BC

Years ago WPIAL was recognized as the premiere high school football conference in the nation. Many pro players came out of that region. Best regards, BC
