It has been many many yrs since I have had any confidence in the President but I feel good about President Obama. Being a realist I know there are going to be things he does & decisions he will make that I will not agree with. He** he has already started action on the Gitmo situation which I disagree with but I DO respect his reasons. Now before anyone starts with the 'yeah well how would you like those people living next to you' stuff the answer is no. I dont want them living next to me. I dont want them living in this country. As a matter of fact I dont want them living period. But it isnt MY decision. However this is but 1 decision my President has made of what will be many more that I can even imagine so I will stand by him.
We have the freedom to vent here our opinions & speak of what we say we 'know' but since the majority of us are not on the inside or within that inner circle we are still very much in the dark of ALL that is going on. Even those, with all do respect, that claim to have been inside. Unless you have been there IN PERSON & heard for yourself it is still by way of......which can always lead to some misinterpretation. Those that say they have been there should then also know that you dont even say that you were. You just keep silent.
This country has an enormous amount of problems, with enough blame to go around, & there is a man in DC that keeps saying we can do it but you have to give him a chance. Allow him some time to learn where all the rooms in his new house are & to hear & digest all the info he didnt have access to before so that he can then at least put things in some sort of order in his head. Then give him a chance to re-organize his plans now that he has that information. Then see where things are going.
There will be good days & there will be bad but it will take some time to see which will out weigh the other. In the meantime stand tall & be thankful that we still have our freedoms, which include being able to bit** here if we like or say negative things about the leader of this country.
I will watch, listen & hope to understand what it is this man is doing & I will do that because he IS my Commander in Chief.
