Cost of War in Iraq $686,528,045,375 Cost of War in Afghanistan $227,871,793,443 And of course these have nothing to do with the deficit? A pittance compared to the structural debt our Dear Leader has added to the national debt in the nine short months since taking office.... At least that money liberated a nation and held our enemies at bay instead of distributing payola grants to artists to come up with catchy posters for 'the cause' and subsidies to bottom-feeders in the business of dispensing helpful business advice to would-be purveyors of child rape. I know I'm gonna pay for this, but....................................let's not forget about FREE Health Care for Illegal Aliens (whoops, I meant immigrants.)

Sorry Funnel - did you listen to absolutely any news source today? There is a new push from the "left" to include health care for illegals in the bill Congress is hoping to vote on...after they find the time...after their 4-day holiday weekend - I'm still trying to figure out what Holiday I missed... Everyone I know was working on Friday (all day) and today...

I honestly don't think the "illegals" really care if it passes or not, because regardless, it will still be business as usual for them.

What I want to know is just how stupid do you have to be to think that someone from another country that is here illegally is going to "purchase" health insurance? We also need to stop the automatic citizenship for babies born in the USA to illegal and maybe even legal immigrants. These are not the days of Virginia Dare.

Keep reading darlin'. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_Myung_MoonHe has been among the most controversial modern religious leaders, both for his religious beliefs and for his social and political activism.
His stand on social issues is based on his interpretation of sin, and is similar to conservative Christian morality. He calls for the literal establishment of a Kingdom of God on earth.

That nutjob thinks he is God. What he writes on paper and what he really believes and has his followers beLIEve are two different stories.

WOW! What is this? Religious intolerance from the Left? I thought you guys were the ones with the "COEXIST" stickers made from crosses, crescent moons, stars of David, etc....all over your Volvo wagons!!!! And if I was a Moonie, so what? I guess that "tolerance" stuff gets selectively applied. And while we're talking about sources, I wouldn't exactly call Salon.com a media outlet without agenda....

And while we're talking about sources, I wouldn't exactly call Salon.com a media outlet without agenda.... The difference being, unlike citing FOX, one may find the facts in the real world do in fact coincide with the those of Salon. Wanna discuss FOX's poster boy Beck and his "biggest minds" comment? Moon has his agenda, as does his newspaper of mostly made up stories. If one wants to discuss issues, using facts rather than making it up as you go is usually a better tactic - given you have an informed populace.

No, no, no Misternuke...you've got it all wrong (or mostly wrong.) Truth Hurts is not completely attacking from the left about anything (IMO) he is baiting. If you back a page or two you will see how I fell for the whole thing - hook, line and sinker. I'm beginning to think he has no real agenda other than to stir the pot...You can reply to his posts, but he does not read and then respond to what you actually write. I'm embarrassed to have participated in the groveling.

I'm embarrassed to have participated in the groveling. Oh no, not at all. I was just bringing out the fact that your opposition to health care for all was based on personal greed, not need. It should have been very apparent to those who read the thread.

wl - I think you get the points here but you need to give it up. This guy is out of it and I would not go out for him if my life depended on it. You don't alway have to answer your point to make your point right. Like Hale80 said...I think I already made my point. It had absolutely nothing to do with personal greed... Thank you Truth Hurts - YOU JUST MADE MY POINT ;D

Thank you Truth Hurts - YOU JUST MADE MY POINT ;D Those who read the exchange we had will make their own decisions I suppose. Those who haven't ODed on FOX's Kool Aid will understand. The facts remains. People NEED health insurance. Those who most need it, more often than not can't afford it. We need to find a way, somehow, someway to provide it. Or, we can can go the route the Republicans suggest:

That's the second time I think you have posted your cute clipboard. You attack Fox and people on their network, you name names of people on the shows they air and even attack people here. You've hit everyone who has a different opinion than you own and even gone so far as to attack the marines.
I hope everybody reads your trash - you are misrepresenting other people and the facts in general.
Alan Grayson of Florida just said recently that republicans want sick people to die quickly - he's a democrat - do you actually believe that?
People like you scare me sometimes.

When have I ever mentioned Beck? 3. Was I defending the ownership of WashTimes? 4. Did I infer that the WashTimes had no agenda? I concur with Water Lady...your answer was irrelevant.... Next, Please!
