Does anybody know of a local (Kent Island to Centreville) photo club? Anybody interested in starting one?

Would it be old school photography where we develop our own film? (If so, I might be interested... I miss working in a dark room!)

Wow, I loved developing my film, but sad to say all I have is a digital, am I am loving it. I would be into a club of some sort. I love taking pics for the purpose.

I'd be interested in a photography group as well. Also a DSLR user.

I'd be willing to coordinate and host a kickoff meeting at my office (Chester). This is something I've been looking into for a while and think it would be great fun.
If you're interested, PM me what nights/times would work best for an organizational meeting and we can take it from there. If we can get a few of us to meet, we can hash out the rest of the details and invite more folks.

Just curious, never been in a club of this sort. What would we be doing? Just learning techniques and sharing?

I've discussed it with a couple of you and it looks like Thursday, October 8th at 7:00 PM should work so let's do that.
Location is 2201 Main Street, Chester in the Chester Centre Building (it's behind Red Apple Plaza). Enter through the brick archway. Look for the Chesapeake Real Estate Associates and Weese Homes signs.
I have a large conference room and should be able to accommodate any that would like to come but please let me know if you'll be there (either via PM or by posting in this thread).
Thanks...should be fun!

Yeah, I've been getting more into macro photography. I love landscapes as well but without better glass it's hard to do sometimes.
Thanks for the comments. I love sharing. Looking forward to talking to others who enjoy looking through the camera.

Bump
And I agree with digital being so much easier... it loses some nostalgia but if I can go out and shoot 600+ shots and pick and choose easily prior to printing them I would much rather do that.
