We went tonight, about 6pm, 15 minute wait, food and service was fine, a slight delay between the app. & the entree but hey, opening night? NO Problem!
Full Rack with Fries and green beans, BBQ Chicken w/Ham & Swiss Sandwich,
The Mrs. and I have been going to the Edgewater Adams for well over 22 years, we'll be back to this one!
Should I move this to the recommendations board now?

OK, now I am really pissed, I ate at Adams Ribs last night and I left pissed. I was thinking, now who can I blame my extra weight on that I will gain, now that I will be eating there often. EXCELLENT! Good job, we needed a place like this. Ribs and a burger I'm happy.

I had dinner there last week. The food was outstanding. If it weren't the first week, the service would have been behind the curve, but I allowed for some minor mistakes, and that is all they made. The food more than made up for it (I had the BBQ shrimp and ribs).
I think one place they have dropped the ball is in their beer selection. I don't mind seeing Bud, Bud Light, Coors, Coors light, ect, ect, ect, Yuengling on draft.....I know what is popular. However, then I look down at the bottles list and its not MUCH different, with a few repeats from the draft list. I think the "wildest" thing on the list was Bass, which on my list of acceptable is right at the bottom, just above Yuengling.
Carry whatever draft you sell the most, but when it comes to bottles, don't be afraid to carry some "off the beaten path" stuff.

Carry whatever draft you sell the most, but when it comes to bottles, don't be afraid to carry some "off the beaten path" stuff. I agree with you. I think their theory is to initially offer what appeals to the masses - then see what is being requested and fill that void.

It's a rib joint, not a beer house.

How do their ribs compare to the best rib joints around?

How do their ribs compare to the best rib joints around? Their Edgewater store IS the best rib joint around on my list. I hope the KI location will follow in those footsteps.

Master - I agree with you regarding their Edgewater location........ Just wait until this smoker and grill get "Seasoned" and it will be just as good

Blaster, it may not be a brew house, but they have 9 or 10 different beers. Do 8 of them have to be the same type? Variety is what I'm asking for.

I had a late dinner there last Friday and was thoroughly pleased. I picked the pork chops (though, I swear I could have pork chops from McDonalds and still think they are incredible...probably my favorite meat) with some taters and green beans(?) and was more than satisfied. The rest of our table was as well. Service was great too, even though we kept her there far later than she should have been, she acted as if she didn't mind at all. Gotta love that.

A friend and I finally got there last Monday! What a great place! You can still smell the new wood. The food was to die for! With all the choices -- I forced myself to stick with the small rack of ribs which were fabulous. Friend ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Their zuchini (sp?), OMG, OMG. And side (?) salad, AND their crab dip with two rolls of bread thinly sliced that literally melted in your mouth. Service was EXCELLENT. Loved it. Will definitely be back!
Only draw back I noticed was lack of signage on 18 -- went up and down a couple times before we found the right road!!! I'm sure that will come -- unless we missed it???
