They have absolutely incredible pizza, and their prices are comparable to the national chains.
Warning, though: don't order a Greek salad from them. To me, a Greek salad contains: cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, onions, feta cheese, and olives. Their Greek salad had: lettuce, carrots, pepperoni, and feta cheese.

You know, that is the only place around here that we will order pizza from. Their Calzones are great too

I also like La Piazza's "chicken roll"s a lot, too. But Shortstop Pizza is really pretty good.

Yes, Short Stop Delivers. We discovered it on a fluke. We were starving and Pizza Hut and Dominoes either weren't delivering that night or said it would take over an hour. Short Stop was at our house within 15-20 minutes that night. Their subs are pretty good too.

This thread inspired me to get pizza from them tonight. Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction after eating the pizza. I'm seriously allergic to all seafood; though there wasn't any seafood on the pizza, my guess is someone handled anchovies before putting our toppings on without scrubbing their hands (yes, I'm *THAT* allergic!). So, that's kind of put a damper on my liking Shortstop... I mean, it's not a huge deal; I've just taken a Benadryl and I"ll be alright, but I don't like having to worry about what I'm eating so much. It just feels like I shouldn't have to worry about ordering pizza. So, not sure if we'll be ordering from them again...

I think you should tell them what happened, in a nice way, to keep it (hopefully) from happening to you, or anyone else, again. That's too bad, with all the seafood around here!

Yeah, I'm planning on mentioning it the next time I order from them. And it is too bad with all the seafood around here; I've heard it's good and I've never tried any of the local seafood at all.

When we order from Short Stop I usually get the Gyro Platter and my husband gets the Chicken Tender Platter. A couple of days ago I was in the mood for pizza so because of the comments on this board we ordered the All Meat and the Deluxe Combo. The meats could have been cooked a little longer (very limp bacon), but other than that it was very very good.

But - my interest is definitely peaked too!!! Have to try them out... How far do they deliver - example - we live near cloverfields... they come that far??

They deliver to Grasonville (Chester River Beach), so I don't see why they wouldn't deliver to Cloverfields!
