Amy - You will love it! There are tons of farmers and so many fresh eggs you just won't believe it!!!
Finally something healthy for the local community. I was so skeptical, but now I am just completely convinced!
I stand corrected. Dr. Mowrey is beyond her time with this fabulous idea!
She definitely offers much more than she is given credit for!

Ok, gotta ask the stupid question since I don't live over there, but have the good fortune of being able to pass thru when I am visiting my schools on that side of the bridge....
Stupid question is, since there is the availability to pre-order, are there still plenty of items "in stock" if you are just stopping by? I love to support local farmers and farmers' markets; fresh always is so much better!!! ;D

Last Tuesday we went for the first time and I can say it was worth it. Loaded up on some Bacon, eggs, and a steak combo pack that was incredible. Than had to get some blue cheese from the cheese people to make a little dressing to go on the top of the t-Bone. The meat we got from their was very affordable and the taste is equal tp anything we have had eating out.

I actually made it out there for this week's offering! FINALLY. Got some great looking food and met some really nice folks too! I hope more vendors will come to this and keep bringing local variety to the table! I think next week when we go back I am going to order some of the fish! OH!! And...word to the wise...bring your recycled or cloth grocery bag You will need it! (lol I forgot mine and the little plastic one they were kind enough to give me just didn't have what it took)

I believe most chiropractors end up with a doctorate degree in chiropractic. So, they use the "Doctor" title. I agree that it can be somewhat misleading, but the only other option would be for them to downplay their education... A Doctor of Chiropractic is a legally recognized degree; a Physical Therapist is something different. To receive a Doctor of Chiropractic degree one must first receive a 4 year undergraduate degree then 'apply and be accepted' into one of only several Chiropractic colleges, complete 4 years there, actually more hours than required for the MD degree. Then must pass state boards and certification, then you are award degree "Doctor of Chiropractic".

We made it out there and even though the vendors weren't abundant, the products were very nice and we bought some vegetables & meats and were extremely pleased with the quality. We will be going back there this coming Tuesday.

The last time I went out there (last Tuesday) there were still a few vendors there. I was disappointed that some of the ones I have come to love weren't there but am hoping that they will be back tonight.
If there is some way of getting a list of who will be at the market on any given date that would be a great piece of info!
I love that place!
