Have been to the restaurant 5 times now. twice for dinner twice for lunch once for cocktails. View and building are gorgeous. Food is very good to fair depending on what u get. Service is also spotty. Was great two times. last night waitress was terrible. Very loud inside. Have weekend band which they don't need. Overall very nice

I went there last night. What a gorgeous setting! They really put a lot into the building and grounds. Food and service was good ($29 steak was a bit pricey, but good) Excellent cream of crab soup.

Lost a little respect on Saturday night. Got there at 5:45pm. Tables were open. Told an hour wait. Saw a list of names and times (seemed to be at least a dozen to 15 names there). Commented I thought they didn't have reservations. They said the names were reservations for the owners' friends. We left. I guess if you own the restaurant and want to save 1/3 of your tables for your buddies, that's your option but thought that was bad on a busy Saturday night. Went to Annie's which was the worst mistake of our life. I have never had worse service than we did there. It would have been quicker to wait an hour at Bridges.

Knuckelhead, I go to Annie's at least 4 times a month. I always have excellent service. Just try and get Susan to wait on you. I only ask to be seated at her tables. As far as the food at Annie's I can only think of one time that the food was not up to par other than that the steaks and Italian food is excellent. I try and go to the Narrows for sea food. Back to Bridges, I have been there 2x now and until they get the service right I don't think I will be back. I am still pissed from the first time I went and they said I could not get a burger @ 3:37PM because of the menu switch over, but then again the table next to me got one. I liked the food and even thought the prices are fair but as far as service, there was none. I think they will do fine in summer but the winter could be a problem unless they start to cater to the locals. Just my 2 cents!

We were also there Saturday night and were taken aback that the owners would do that, but more importantly would not instruct the young ladies at the front to keep that quiet. Essentially what they were telling us was that reservations were only for VIPs, and obviously we did not qualify. Not good, won't be back for a while, if at all.

Kent Island is a small town. I hope they really get there S*&T together, I would like it to my favorite place but I wonder. Rule one, take care of the locals! These are the people that will give you a strong base and will continue to service you business time and time again, just like I do with Annie's. I spend about $250.00 plus per month their, month after month. It's funny, I have lived here for years and have only been the Fisherman's and Harris twice. Both bad experiences so never again. I would try it again, no. That's not to say they are bad but not for me. If I think this way how many other locals feel the same. I have a friend that won't try anything but Fisherman's. He loves the place so there are tow sides to every story and in this economy you need to go a little out of your way on service or you will loose the customer.
