Ravens looking good yesterday with the 23-3 win over the Deadskins, that fake punt was a great play. The Orioles won yesterday too. It was a good day for Baltimore sports!

Mmm. I don't know that I'd agree with you on this one. Secondary is up to their old ways. Long ball is going to kill us again this year for sure. Flacco didn't look settled at all. Bulger on the other hand looked really good.

Was there precision, no. They do still have work to do for sure. But, you don't score 23 points automatically. I do agree that Flacco looks uneasy, almost like a first day on the job look. He had that in the playoffs too.

They played a little sloppy but pulled out a few tricks to help them win the game. I hope they can work out all the kinks in the next couple of weeks and get ready for the main event. It looks like we have a good crew, just need to get them all on the same page.

I would agree we have some work to do, but overall, I think they did a pretty good job! One thing I noticed that I think was really great was our esprit de corps. For some reason, I had such a good time watching the sideline interviews with the players...did anyone else notice those big, toothy grins and the antics back and forth between the players? I think there is a lot to be said about the way the team interacts as "a team," and it translates onto the field. As a lifetime Orioles fan, it's nice to have hope for a successful season for the Ravens. I only wish our baseball team could find the same positive attitude. Then again, it does trickle down from the top.

I was at the game and it was good. It's pre-season, everybody's in and out. The real deal is Sept 12th ...vs. Dallas.

I don't know that they looked all that good. They looked OK. First string O looked better last week against Carolina. D line and backers looked good. Secondary still has issues. Gave up too many long passes. Otherwise D played well and forced turnovers. Wash scored 42 pts last week and we held them to 3, so gotta be happy with that. Always feels nice to beat the Skunks in preseason but once the real games start the preseason scores mean nothing. As fitness18 says, my concern is on Monday Sept 13th vs the Jets.

Yea, the short pass seemed to be the "flavor of the week" during that game...there were several discussions as to why but no one can really ever be certain, except of course the coaches lol. I AM anxious about the start of the "real" season. Hopeful and supportive, as always....just...anxious too
