Jon Stewart points out that Fox News anchors and guests are vilifying Saudi prince and financier Alwaleed bin Talal as a financial backer of Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the Muslim-American clergyman who seeks to build a community center in lower Manhattan. The problem: Alwaleed bin Talal is part owner of Fox News. tv.gawker.com/5620154/jon-stewart-fox-news-omits-facts-to-further-its-fear+driven-narrativeSaudi prince Al-Waleed bin Talal en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Waleed_bin_TalalIn 2002, Al-Waleed donated 18.5 million British pounds ($27 million) to the families of Palestinians during a TV telethon following Israeli operations in the West Bank city of Jenin. The telethon was ordered by Saudi King Fahd to help relatives of Palestinian martyrs. The Saudi government said the term "martyrs" referred not to suicide bombers but to "Palestinians who are victimized by Israeli terror and violence." However, a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council said that "some money will go to the families of suicide bombers. " Prince Alwaleed bin Talal al-Saud of Saudi Arabia, through his Kingdom Holding Company, owns 7% of News Corp.'s shares, making Kingdom Holdings the second largest shareholder.

Hmmm... so many anti Islamic posts lately I figured someone would chime in. No one has a problem with strict Wahabbi's owning a large share in your favorite news channel? The second largest share holder is funding the mosque you hate so much. I would have figured with such complete anti Muslim attitudes on here of late, somebody would be a tad upset. How many anti Muslim threads have been posted here lately? I'm sure if this guy was involved with MSNBC I would never hear the end of how the left and Obama are a bunch of Muslims. Amirite?

Tough nuts. Kill our people and blow up our stuff and we'll be anti you too. Sorry but NOT. Muslims need to reclaim their "hijacked" religion or live with the consequences. If we don't dish out the consequences then shame on us and our country is doomed.

If "Amirite" means "am I right," then NO...you are not right. I'm not sure what you are, but you are most certainly not right. I also think your attempt to link the opinions of some on Fox news with the fact that a Wahabbi or who ever the hell it is, happens to own a small share of the network is a really, really big stretch. Good Grief!! Perhaps you are feeling so left out that you need to create a little conflict and perhaps some of us are tired of the same dribble...who knows...then again, if Jon Stewart is the one who "pointed it out," how could anyone doubt it?

Your posts are obviously attempts to stir up controversy and not make any point or attempt to discuss & resolve any issue. Try locating some information and coming to your own conclusion, post that conclusion and have a discussion on it instead of shooting off a bunch of SCUD missiles hoping you can get a reaction.

Dear Fox Advertiser, by Tides CEO Drummond Pike I am writing to ask your company to take a simple step that may well save lives in the future. And it is not unimportant that taking this action will remove your company and its products from any connection to what could very likely be an unpleasant tragedy, should things remain as they are today. On behalf of my organization, and many others like it, I ask that you cease advertising on the Fox News Channel www.tides.org/discourse/index.html

Hey Deep Sea _ you and the rest of your buddies are all alike. When it comes to free speech and freedom of thought, it's very important when it's your guy talking. Otherwise, shut down opposing views at all costs! I hope you guys get spanked good next Tuesday!!
