That's the way I like it! Aha aha ... that's the way I like it.. aha aha..
A great football game that all Queen Annes countians can be proud of.. Keep your heads up Bucs and go win a state championship! Make us all proud to be from the outhouse side of the pond and proud of our high schools and young adults.

Ok this Friday - BUCS vs WiHi!!! This was an AMAZING game last time & I expect this one will be the same!
Come out with your noise makers & support your local team as they make their way to states - one game at a time! I personally have to say how I love the fact that's how they are approaching this! One game at a time!!!

THIS WAS AN AMAZING COMEBACK!!!! I couldn't be more proud of the team & the coaches! They stuck in there & FINISHED!! This was awesome! Less than 4 minutes in the 4th and came back to tie the game & then to win in OT!!! that's the proof of their skill, dedication & commitment!!!
However, I personally was disappointed in the fans... we were loud 1st half & then as the 2nd half went on, we got quieter & quieter until the fans were more defeated than i think the players were. I heard grumblings all around me from the "monday morning quarterbacks" and people actually started to leave in the 4th quarter because they had given up on our young men. Shame on them! And they missed one heck of an end to game that's for sure! Fans - we need to be louder than our opposing teams fans, we need to be cheering them on if they are winning or losing, these boys & the coaches put so much time & effort into being ready for these games, the least we can do is SUPPORT them & cheer them on!!
Next game this Friday against Frederick Douglass I believe - at home - come out - make some noise & SUPPORT YOUR TEAM! We win this one, we are off to the state championships at M&T Stadium!!! Let's cheer them on & make a whole lotta noise this Friday!!! People in Cloverfields should be hearing us ALL NIGHT!!!!
My hats off though to WiHi, they had a great season & played an overall good game Friday night. KIHS was their only 2 losses all year - they are a good team & played well & they were emotional about the loss...

^^^ I have to say bluecrabber.. I love the way you drop the Lions in any chance you get!!!! Not bashing, I think it's great that they have fans like you!!!! And can I tell you, trying to explain to my stepdaughter who goes to QACHS (yes we are a house divided) why there were so many QACHS students at the game - rooting for the BUCS.... While yes, we are "rival" teams, we are ONE county and that is what is important - they are supporting their local team as we would do if the tables were turned! That's the great thing about living in this county, while during the season we are rivals, in post season, that goes out the window & we are QAC! growing up, we didn't have that kind of support from or to our rival team... i think it's awesome! |

My oldest son who is going to be 28 in Jan...was on the first Football team KI ever had ...he was the first class 2002 to go through that school from 9th to 12th grade.
