LJP, is that (oh my god) comment related to being surprised from bchevy's remarks about someones wife and a sales pitch or are you shocked that the answer was right there all the time and you never realized it. It would be a great women owned and operated business, the female body is a beautiful thing. The closest business like that is Baltimore or Delaware. High standards must be met so the county officials would let this type of business exist. Isn't it almost election time? Also pick a good location so that all the commuters could stop in and take a break from the traffic. Must have a lot of parking. Let me know if this is to go forward I could help with the interview process.

GWB -- I'm all for your idea.
Let's see how quickly the Dem's around here strike down this idea.
We'd have the trillion Soccer Mom's in an uproar if it was around here.

Let's see how quickly the Dem's around here strike down this idea. That's got to be the STUPIDEST line I've seen on this site to date. I see the women are lining up to get in on the idea, it must be a good one.....

Actually, the religious nutjobs are usually Republican, so you can bet that they would oppose. Nudity and beer make the baby Jesus cry..... Lol!

UM WELL, LET ME SEE, WHERE DO I START? RE: A strip club would be great! I'm tired of driving all the way to Baltimore and I'd rather support local single mothers in QAC rather than those on the western shore. IS THAT SUPPOSED TO BE A JOKE?
RE: Not only would we keep all that money in the county but a local club would keep the men closer to home with less distance to drive home drunk and broke. OR UM WAIT...IS THIS THE JOKE?
RE: LJP, is that (oh my god) comment related to being surprised from bchevy's remarks about someones wife and a sales pitch or are you shocked that the answer was right there all the time and you never realized it. Let me know if this is to go forward I could help with the interview process. OH WAIT...THIS IS IT...
Is this for real? Are you just trying to be funny or just get a rise out of us? I agree with bchevy, I can see all of the county women now, trying to get in on the ground floor of a business that would have their husbands out supporting the "QAC Single Moms Club" by getting drunk and broke, but oh wait the benefit....They wouldn't have to drive far that way.
PUHlease....

Look at how busy Red Eyes Dock Bar is on Sundays for the bikini contest. This is almost a strip club. The business is doing well I'm sure.
A new business idea for the Island would have to include an entertaining, attractive, different atmosphere than we have already. If you want to make money and be able to expand a new business it needs to attract the people living here and other people as well. Don't be so narrow minded. Look at Big Bats it different for Kent Island and looks like its doing very well.
If you don't like the idea of a female strip club maybe a male strip club, the KIVFD are doing a trial run with their calender.

The strip club could be built in an existing building - that way everyone would be happy!

Well if this strip club is such a money maker and in such large demand, why not go after the old Safeway once it's abandoned. However, you would be dealing with the Destefanos on the lease and they are shrewd business people.

LJP - It looks like the Beanos spot is going to be some kind of furniture boutique. I forget the name of it though...

no actually I was never able to get the $$ together. I listened to a potential investor who said that my ideas/locations wouldn't work so my plans went on hold, then 2 other people took my ideas and are now thriving. So no new businesses for me... GW, no offense but I don't think that I would be much interested in the opportunities you have available!
