What an amazing night. We watched the game up in Baltimore and the whole town was electric. I still can't believe this all happened, it's like a fairytale with "Ray's Last Ride" and all. Flacco was Joe Cool, Boldin was clutch, great team effort. Feels nice to once again say "Ravens are the World Champions!"

Did anyone else go to the stadium and parade today? It was incredible.

Sad... so was the 7-11 that got looted the night of Superbowl....the cars that got destroyed... the fighting... Why do people go crazy? It's just a freaking game.......Yea, celebrate...be happy, but geez... destroy, maim and kill? Just don't get it..... (Balitmore is not the only city that is guilty...they are just guilty right now....)

That's terrible, but it has nothing to do with the parade or the celebration. "This was an isolated incident," Guglielmi said. "The victims knew their attackers. We believe this stemmed from a dispute. At this point, there is no information to suggest that these individuals were involved or came here for the Ravens victory celebration. We're still trying to parse out all of those details."

I was at the stadium rally with my kids and it was absolutely incredible. They estimated 95,000 in the stadium before they closed the gates. Stadium only holds 71K. We had a great time. It was truly great to see the outpouring of emotion from so many folks for the Ravens. It's something I will remember forever.

Some news station were reporting that over 100K fans came out to support/cheer their team. I find that absolutely phenominal and outstanding!!!
Times are hard right now. We live in the greatest country in the world right now controlled by some of the stupidest. Economically speaking times are tough. When times are tough...Moral gets low, despair runs high...
then something like your hometown team does the near impossible...wins the biggest game of them all...
And just for a few minutes everyone puts thier troubles away and bounds together for a common cause.. In those minutes of celebration, people are feeling happy and for just a moment their troubles aren't so daunting...
To me, that is one of the greatest things about Fans. With out them... there would be no professional teams.... Your fans are what makes you great..... so being able to share with them your greatest triumph of the season....that's your duty...
But did you ever expect that many? Nope prolly not....
We have been to the Ravens Staduim and no doubt in my mind that your fan base is outstanding... one of the best times we have ever had.... I like your fans... (just don't expect me to wear the color purple anytime soon...) LOL!!
But I hope the Raven's Organization took notice....
Congrats again!!! Enjoyed watching your celebration!!

Actually, it was a little over (estimated) 100k just in the stadium, and that place filled up before the parade was even over. I'd think it was probably more between 200k and 300k, and that's with a ton of people not making it due to the light rail being completely full by 1000.
Definitely a great turnout and an amazing event to be at. I'm glad I took a half day at work and drove down there.

Agree completely, close to 100K in the stadium, another 100-200K along the parade route. The closed the gates at 12:30, well before the parade reached the stadium. People were scaling the gates to get in. It was a crazy scene. If not for the completely jammmed traffice and no parking anywhere there would have been many more folks up there.
Took me 2 hours to get up there and the only reason i was able to make it was because I went up Rt 2 and avoided 295/95. I managed to somehow get a parking spot in Federal Hill and walk for 30+ min to get there. It was well worth it and I'm really glad my kids got to experience it with me. I'm sure it's something they will understand and appreciate more as they get older.

Yea, we went up rt. 2 as well, we parked right by Nicks Fish House. The walk wasn't too terrible. This was after waiting at the light rail in Linthicum and 3 trains passing us by, not stopping because they were full.
